the beach bar & grill mooloolaba

chicken parmy night epic really enjoyed the meal very tasty and filling. chicken was fresh and a choice of salad with the tomato salsa and cheese

my partner and i stumbled upon this place for dinner, in a sea of italian restaurants among the main strip of mooloolaba and i’m so glad we did.
the surf and turf was absolutely fantastic. i’m a fussy meat eater and i rarely eat steak, but this was mouthwatering. the steak was juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. served with salad and chips. it was huge!
the wait and bar staff were friendly and the restaurant itself has a chilled vibe about it. highly recommended!

dropped in for a last minute lunch- it can be tricky to find above the esplanade, but definitely worth the hunt! the view is fantastic over mooloolaba beach, the staff were wonderful, professional and very friendly. i ordered the fish and chips lunch special - so good i ate it too fast to photograph! i recommend it whole- heartedly. we will definitely be back!

excellent steak with good beer selection. had a fantastic steak recently, service was good, meal did not take long and craft beer selection was excellent! nice view of the beach whilst i ate. will definitely be back

waited 50mins for our entree went up to leave and got treated like we had done something wrong as people arriving after us were getting served before us. don't go here to eat. the manager on duty spoke down to us when we asked for our money back, and there was no apology.

bland bar and grill. i think this place has changed hands. after my last disappointing experience here i decided to give it another try. you used to be able to enjoy good australian modern cuisine at a good price here. it was nothing spectacular but it was tasty and value for money. although the menu hasn't changed much, the food is now bland, lacks seasoning. the bruschetta should be removed from the menu. it consists of dried out vegetables on dry bread with little seasoning or flavour. i was smearing it with the small amount of balsamic glaze on the plate just to get some moisture on the meal. the side of chips had little salt/seasoning and the aioli also lacked seasoning. the drink range at the bar has diminished, and the drink i ordered was poorly made. every part of the meal was lacking. will not go back.

next time i will try the ribs but i won't eat lunch as the meals are very generous

beach bar and grill is located up the stairs .. smack bang in the center of the esplanade. prices on the menu seem a bit steep but i opted for the chicken parma ranch style for $20 and i was not disappointed. the parma was massive! golden and crispy with fresh avocado, tomato salsa and ranch dressing baked under the melting golden cheese! it was served with a fresh slaw which was quite respectable. my fellow dinner had the ribs and steak combo but was quite disappointed as the ribs had basically no meat what so ever on them and the steaks flavored was quite underwhelming. therefore if you are heading for meal at the beach bar and grill... get the parma.. you won't be disappointed.
