the back 9

poor. i am a long-time patron of the establishments that have occupied the space currently the home of the back -9." back-9 is the least favorite of the occupants. there is no character to the place…it could be a bar in plano, denton, or allen. the selection of beers ( on tap, and bottles) are not noteworthy. the beers are average at best, lacking character and flavor; the ambiance is predictable; and the food and service are milk toast.

this place is a short 1 minute walk from my job.  i was on the fence at first because it is a bar.  i was totally wrong!!  the food in this "bar" is outstanding!!!!  the alcoholic drinks are for grown folks!! my co-workers and i are making our way down the main menu along with the lunch menu and have not been disappointed.  the staff are very nice and they remember your face and what you like to drink.  the prices are also affordable.  you can eat lunch including a drink (non-alcoholic) for under $10.00!  if you want a neighborhood place with good food, good prices, nice staff...........please visit the back 9!!

ok, i did not want to go here.... for lunch on a friday afternoon. i am just not a big bar guy, and reading the reviews made me even more skeptical. i still gave it a try on a suggestion from a few dear friends.

ok, points for not being busy when we went, there was no sign of smoke, and the service was good. it did not have that typical bar atmosphere when we went, and that is a good thing. i tried one of their lunch specials, which was a cheeseburger (added bacon) and fries. it was surprisingly very good! burger was juicy, solid flavor, fries were seasoned well (unlike and seasoning i have tried), and the portion was big but did not have too much food.

though i still do not like the bar atmosphere, i think that this joint is a solid choice for a weekday lunch. the food was very good and service was solid. i would definitely have no issues going back if someone suggested it. a "like" from me!

smokers paradise. it stinks...and just try to digest food from their non-award winning menu in the owner acceptable smoke tank. yes even the "non-smoking" section was full of smokers. addison anywhere has this problem. but any establishment that turns a blind eye 2 smoking n their nonsmoking section is unacceptable. add addison smokers entitlement. back 9 is a smokers paradise. cool if ur a cat with all ur 9 lives left. if not, only go to back 9 if u r addicted 2 nicotine and think u look cool when u smoke.

this is one of my all time favorite resturants. its right by my job so i find myself there multiple times a week. they have the best philly i have ever ate in my life. i love the enviornment, no shortage of tvs to watch the game on. the waitress are always very friendly. definitly would suggest this place to anyone.

great place. everyone was so friendly and the food was awesome! best place to watch the mavs ive found.

awful. i went when it wasn't that crowded and still got horrible service. our waiters were rude, and my entire party's tab was wrong. on top of that, the drinks were either really heavy on the mixers or too strong to be drinkable. i will never go back there again & wouldn't recommend it.

great food. everyone was so friendly. definetly in my rotation for hanging out

my opinion. great re-model, friendly service marginal menue.
