i went with some work colleagues, one of whom was vegan and had endured a meat-focussed meal the evening before. i wasn’t sure what to expect but with no meat-derived products on the menu i decided to go for menu selections that did not attempt to resemble meat.
grilled cheese, patatas bravas, padron peppers and nocerella olives to share as starters, all delicious and moorish!
jackfruit shawarma with rice for my main and not in the least disappointed with the taste or the portion size.
black forest parfait for my dessert and this is perhaps what prevented a 5/5 score. tasty enough but a little disappointing, a little bit nouvelle cuisine perhaps for me.
rounded off with an oatly latte that was surprisingly tasty.
overall a refreshing change for me and well worth a visit
