the best thai food around. wonderful service, great menu, and i love this place!

overrated. it's okay. that's about it. the meat is tasteless, so it's better to order vegetarian.

there are better choices not too far away.

good thai food in cedar park?. you bet! all of the curries i've had are excellent and authentic. the galangal soup (or whatever it's called here) is great. the salads are great. everything i've had here (aside from the spring rolls) is great. they put a lot of love in their dishes. check it out!

love hurts. i love thamnak thai so much it hurts. my wife and i used to live about three miles away, and ate here every other week. now we live in omaha. i would punch someone in the face if it meant i could get one of their curry bowls or rice noodle dishes. i cannot find thai food this good in omaha, and i've tried. their interior leaves something to be desired, but the quality of the food and the exceptionally friendly service more than makes up for this one shortcoming. i miss this place with my whole body.

so where to start?  we ordered the egg rolls, tom kha, pad prik khing, and the beef salad.  egg rolls were par, underseasoned, so the wife and i argued whether or not they were home made or store bought (store bought wouldn't be underseasoned is my argument).  the tom kha was pretty good, fresh mushrooms, but there was practically zero chicken in the bowl and what was there was way over cooked.  the vegetables in my wife's salad were wilted, tomatoes had become grainy from being in the fridge too long, and her beef was well done.  my pad prik khing wasn't bad, but it too was overcooked.  they don't have fresh thai chili and they do not use jalapeno, so their spice comes from a dried and ground thai chili, which mean that when i ordered thai-hot, my dish was caked in the spice powder.

to be fair, i would definitely give them another shot.  the wait staff were very friendly and very attentive!  maybe we caught them on a bad night?

green curry is a true test of a thai restaurant and this was fantastic! the salad was weird and not my favorite but the curry more than made up for it!

awesome spice. newish to area and googled a thai restaurant and found this one. was not disappointed. new favorite... shredded papaya salad! i knew it had thai seasoning but did not expect the kick it had. absolutely loved it. hope to come back later this week for another one!

just okay thai food. i've eaten here a couple times for lunch. the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and appropriate. service is good and efficient. but the food is "just okay" in my opinion. the meat does not taste fresh and the flavors are not quite what i'm used to in thai food. maybe it is an americanized version?

best place in cedar park. the owner anchalee is such a hard worker who cooks to please. whenever i set foot in the restaurant, it feels like family. her and bruce are very warming and caring people with a sense of humor. great food and great atmosphere.

family favorite. we choose thamnak regularly because everyone in the family has a craving favoriite. customizations are cheerfully accommodated, and the service is great. the fact that the decor isn't fancy doesn't matter to us since their prices aren't fancy, either. i hope they are around forever!

the yellow curry is awesome! don't arrive late for lunch they stop serving at 2:45 and only offer carry out the last 15 minutes of lunch.

love this little place. the food is delicious! great soup and egg rollls. am going there monday for lunch!

excellent overall experience! clean, great service, and wonderful food. we particularly enjoyed the pineapple & yellow curry.
