yum!. while the tom kha gai is so rich and delicious that you might be tempted not to order anything else, don't miss the red curry with pork. amazing!

prices are comparable with other thai restaurants in the city, but the portion sizes seemed larger to me which is great because i love thai leftovers for lunch!

the only downside to this place is that it's closed on sundays.

hmm pad thai. my family have been visiting this place regularly for the last year and can't get enough. the pad thai is the best i have found so far in edmonton. the green curry dishes and bbq beef are also great.

terrible!!!. my bf and i decided to try this place for some thai food tonight. it was extremely overpriced for what we got, and didn't even taste that good! the matsaman neua was way too salty (yuck!) that i couldn't eat it unless i had a spoon of rice to go with it! the panang kai was also less than impressive. if we were sitting down to eat, i would have definitely complained. as we got take out, there is really nothing i could have done about this.i will never order from here again.

best spring rolls anywhere. the restaurant is a hole in the wall and slightly pricy when compared to other thai restaurants in edm., but the spring rolls are the best in town.

very good thai food/very spicy. if you are a north american who loves spicy food and you usually order your food "spicy" at north american restaurants or americanized thai establishments, i would suggest you order the mild or medium at thai valley, because they dont mess around with the spice. it is packed with great flavour, that you wont be able to experience if you burn your tastebuds off with spice from their "spicy" versions. i am not kidding. my sister loves spice, nothing is ever "too spicy" for her. yet, we ordered the penang curry from this restarant and she could not get past 5 spoonfuls. i recommend this restauarnts food, but be warned about the spice.

tom yam goon was super salty and thick. they brougt us a new one, but i'm pretty sure they just put hot water in it. had a green curry which was good, but again, very salty. pad thai was very thick and saucy, and again, super salty. was disappointed because this place had good reviews. on the plus sid, the lemon infused water tasted extra sweet and delicious!

i've been here a few times and the food has been up and down. some really good dishes; some really plain and disappointing dishes. on our "last" visit they actually asked us to change tables half way through our meal so they could sit one more person at the table we were sitting at. we had to pick everything up and move it. they didn't even help. awkward...... each time i've been here i've been less and less impressed.

love it!!. my favourite thai restaraunt, i have been eating here for years. i love the coconut rice and it is just as good the next day. the honey garlic pork is wonderful, very tender and tasty. i have never had a bad dish here.

i used to like eating here, but the food has definitely gone downhill. the tom ka khai was really thick and had no sourness to it, the pad thai was too oily and the bbq beef with vegetables was more like stir-fried beef and vegetables. one consistent thing about all of the dishes that we ordered was that they were all too salty. we kept drinking so much water afterwards...

there are those moments in life when the stars just don’t align; and getting together with ms. w for a long overdue supper date was one of those moments. people are busy, phone calls are missed, and the chance to eat and catch up just gets farther away. f

loving thai valley grill. a strip mall off the whitemud expressway isn't where i thought i would discover thai cuisine of this quality. once inside, the warmth of the intimate setting of thai valley grill prepared me for the outstanding food to come. i loved the menu, the wine list and the service of this restaurant enough to make it my "go to" thai spot in edmonton. great value matched by fresh flavours and the fine hospitality of paul the host. definitely one of the best tables in the city.

best thai food in town. this place has been around forever, previously being near the muttart in the river valley, and we still go to it because it is by far the best authentic thai food in town.

in fact, it can sometimes take a little longer because you would swear that they are flying it in from thailand....it's that authentic. (and actually, we have never waited that long, and we have kids, we don't often have that long).

the service has always been great. the guy is one of the coolest servers you'll ever meet, and he's great with kids.

try the thai calamari, the salad rolls, the salmon, the pad thai, the green curry, and any of the soups or salads. the thai iced tea is my favorite, and the wife likes the lichee juice.

the spices are so good that you find you eat half of what you'd like, but you're twice as full. we always go home with leftovers, and yet never seem to eat too much. never put a mouthfull of the spices in the little silver bowl in your mouth as i did, and let me tell you, it hurts.

the prices are reasonable, and you'll usually be able to walk in, but i'd phone for a reservation on a friday or weekend.

i have to say, don't come here with kids expecting hamburgers and fries. they will not like it.

for me, the king eats alone, i eat at the thai valley grill.

great take-out. i had the chicken satay, marinated in yellow curry and thai spices. it had the perfect amount of flavour and spice, and the peanut dipping sauce was perfect!

the salad and rice was nothing to sing about but i am looking forward to more take-out!

it's pretty good. they need some help staff wise because that poor dude has to bust it hard to serve everyone. food is good, i am not sure it is the best.
