food is always on spot. pad thai with chicken or shrimp is excellent. the curry dishes are also great with potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions.

this is a solid thai restaurant. i also ordered my food hot and it was not as hot on this visit as prior visits. however, they brought their home made spice powder that they make with chilis they get from thailand. the spice is fantastic and brings a lot of heat (and i like it hot).

every thing on the menu is top notch and i have tried almost all. no true favorite. today it was eggplant basil: sautéed eggplant, fresh basil leaf, bell peppers, carrot, and onion in chef special sauce

our family loves thai spice. we have eaten at other thai restaurants in south carolina and this thai restaurant in anderson is the best so far. we are very very happy that we have this restaurant in our town. seriously the best restaurant in anderson!!!

one of the best in the upstate. my wife and i occasionally drive down from greenville for a show at the electric city playhouse. we usually have dinner at thai spice. we consider it one of the best thai restaurants in the upstate.

this time, we started with an order of baby egg rolls and a cucumber salad. i had the pad thai with pork and my wife had the siom sweet and sour with chicken. everything was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully. our server was gracious and very attentive.

compared to some of the over-priced “high class” thai restaurants in greenville that serve food that taste like it is cooked ahead of time and held on a steam table until ordered, it is nice to find a thai restaurant that prepares the meal fresh.

killer chili sauce. spicey veggie in chili sauce is great. really good flavor and they know how to give it some kick as well. went here for lunch while in town on business. eat a lot of asian food when i travel, and this dish ranks really high.

someone at thai spice must have read my last review because they now have some new servers (including women), and the service is much better. the food is still great as always. we have no problems there now. highly recommend spicy basil noodles, tom kha soup and the green curry.

while the food here makes this my favorite place the service at the clemson blvd location is horrendous. they consistently don't bring silverware or napkins and today we asked 3 times for our appetizer which we never even got. our server wandered around like he was lost in the restaurant. they need some women servers here to take charge. what a shame w such great food.

good food, not so good service. whenever my husband and i go to anderson, thai spice is where i want to eat. this is because of one dish there that i love. the "japexican backfire." it's a sushi version of jalapeno poppers. it's delicious. the other food i've had there i have enjoyed as well, but this is the the main reason i eat there. the service can be slow, and my husband once called to make a order for pick up but the woman on the other end of the phone barely spoke english and argued that certain things weren't on the menu when he had it in front of him. not a good selling point. but it is worth a try since the food is good. watch out for the spiciness though, when they say hot they mean hot!

edit: so i recently went to get the previously mentioned "favorite dish" and for the 2nd time out of 6 they were out of jalapenos. this made me pretty angry because this certainly should not happen on more then one occasion. i doubt i'll be returning there any time in the near future.

the food was terrible and the service was horribly slow. i requested a salad but was told that they didn't have enough for people that didn't order plates. go somewhere else. you aren't missing anything here.

very good, inexpensive thai food. i thought this place was better than many of the thai restaurants in greenville, and the lunch portions were absolutely huge. overall, a great value for the money.
