almost famous. this was a very good burger, but i did find it flawed in two ways.
first, the meat was a little overcooked for my liking. it was still flavourful, and the grease and my selected sauces kept it moist, but it was definitely well-done. this was a little disappointing. in the future, i would request the patties be cooked a minute or two less.
the second problem was that i found the bun to be possibly verging on stale. the heft of the burger and generous application of toppings requires a firm bun, and the texx burger folks have selected an appropriately dense one, but i did not enjoy its texture.
now that i am done nitpicking, i will say that despite being slightly overcooked, the patties were very tasty, the toppings were fresh and liberally applied, and the burger as a whole was constructed well and thoughtfully. its two-fisted sloppiness should be considered an asset rather than a liability.
