worst ever. ok finally got my togo food after waiting 45 minutes. simply ridiculous and of course it was screwed up. mine apparently wasn't the only one. worst take out service ever. i ordered greens and got beans. i had the ribs and chicken with beans( i ordered greens) and cole slaw. slaw was good chicken was ok ribs were more like jerky. couldn't eat most of them. i can safely say that the texas toast was the best thing i had. extremely disappointed that i wasted 45 mins of my life for food as bad as this

bad service. the service and the prices are the biggest problems at tx ribs. i can't say if there food is up to par because i gave up on it. i think only regulars go there now

great baby back ribs and coleslaw. service was amazing and the fat tire beer went really well with the ribs.

memorable meal. popped i.... memorable meal.

popped in because the twin kiss was renamed texas ribs & bbq. i had gotten pork at the twin kiss once and it was good, do went for a real meal.

being in md, they started with cream of crab. thick, good, with just enough old bay flavor. really enjoyed.

ordered ribs. really good. well trimmed so they weren't overly fatty, and the meat was sweet and tender. well covered in aside while smoking so they had a good mix of sweet sauce and smoky flavor. really good ribs, good flavor and a real nicely done rack. i got beans and slaw with it. the beans also had a real nice flavor. often they have too much or too little sauce, and it has a nondescript flavor. these were in the wetter side with just the right amount of smoke and flavor from a nice mix of spices. the slaw was creamy with some celery seed in it and was pretty sweet but just the right amount.

reading the blog/critic reviews, it seems that there are either inaccuracies or things have changed. a few i noted are listed below.

the sauce is not thin or watery, but nice and thick. the hot isn't really hot, and just has a nice spice over the mild flavor. because the ribs were cooked nicely and basted/coated when cooking, there really wasn't a real need to add sauce, yet the ribs also weren't overly slathered in sauce.

the beans as mentioned above are wetter than some places, but not excessively saucy and quite flavorful. some of the best bbq beans i've had in a long time.

the slaw was creamy, not vinegar based.

i'd highly recommend the twin kiss/texas bbq if in the area. really good, well flavored and prepared barbecue.

i was in the mood for some bbq after a really nice hike, so i went here. i started off with some chili. it was not very good. a lot of beans, of different types, and little meat. i got there about 1930. i ordered iced tea and a sampler that consisted of three meats. i chose pulled pork, ribs, and chicken. the ribs were tender, and were mostly smoked. i think they needed just a touch longer in the smoker. the pulled pork was outstanding – really nice flavor and tender. i really enjoyed the pulled pork best. the chicken was a total waste. it was dry and there was no amount of tea drinking would fix it. the bbq sauce was no help either. that was some lousy chicken. the bbq sauce was odd. i tried both the mild and the hot, and really tasted no difference. the hot had a definate jalapeno flavor, but no heat. the mild… it was thin and had an odd taste to it. it did not really enhance the flavor of the meat. i stopped using the sauce. the meal came with two sides. i asked about the cole slaw,

good food. food is consistently good and service is usually very efficient, though it can slip a little at times. not much on atmosphere, but i go there for the food not ambiance.
