not a good experience. i ordered a camarones al mojo de ajo to go, no cheese and no cream. i got home and found out they forgot the rice on the dinner and added cream on the salad. i noticed also the portions are smaller compared to when they were in the old place. i will check my order before leaving the restaurant next time.

gooooooooooaaaaaaalllll!. we have lived in this area for many years and never noticed this place. it's hidden away in a nook in an unassuming strip mall. the food was really good! we watched a soccer game announced in spanish on the tv in the corner. we will be coming back for more!

love this place. best mexican food in town! very affordable too! i've been going her for a few years and it never let's me down. the taco place right next to it is for tourists, but this place is authentic.

went first time for a quick dinner. great service! ordered chorizo burrito which was okay. will try something else next time. wife ate shrimp dish which was also okay. nothing stellar.

like another person said, you know you are on the right track if most of the other patrons are people from mexico.  i like chorizo, so i get two or three chorizo tacos with rice and beans.  the corn tortillas are fresh, fried in oil then filled with superb, handmade chorizo.  outstanding food at reasonable prices.  highly recommended  - cw

cheese enchiladas with salsa verde. it was so good. not just an cheese enchilada but very nicely seasoned. yum!

we had my birthday dinner at this place i went by the rating and it was very good. the service was great and you did not have to wait very long for your food. we will be going back for sure.

dried out very expensive food.. i stopped in hoping for a good meal, but was very let down. my soft taco shells were dry and semi-crisp. the steak in them was dry and much like bacon bits. the cheese was low quality and badly mismatched to the cheese enchiladas. 5 tacos and 2 enchiladas cost me almost $20. i will not return.

big disappointment. i am always looking for authentic mexican food in seattle. i'd heard good things about taqueria la venadita. what a disappointment. the staff was very nice. the food was beyond mediocre. my son's chicken nachos had no taste and were skimpy on toppings. my tacos had tiny fried meat cubes of pork and carne asada with a bit of salsa. the refried beans had no taste whatsoever. my daughter's quesadilla was fine. we will not be returning.

don't judge this place by it's cover. this joint sure doesn't look like much from the outside, and inside is pretty sparse, but great food makes it all worthwhile! super fast, fresh and really great tasting food. i ordered the taco salad and the chicken was perfection, and the bowl freshly made and still warm. very reasonable prices for the quality.
