perfection!. went for the first time on cinco de mayo and found perfection!
friendly service, great prices, nice seating area and some of the best handmade salsas i have ever tried.
the super taco plate made the hard shell or soft shell question easy...you get both. we also had the prawns and carne asada combination plate and both were perfectly cooked and garnished.
you won't be disappointed if you love real authentic mexican food. the salsas are worth the trip alone.
only wish this taqueria was in our portland neighborhood. adios!

bad mexican fast food, plastic utensils, waitress couldn't be bothered to clean the table, i ate half the food before giving up. good salsas and tortillas but i'll never go back.

very good traditional mexican fare. some of the highlights were the fresh avocado slices, crumbled queso fresco, 4 kinds of fresh self-serve salsa (mild to very hot), and an abundant supply of fresh made corn tortillas. the restaurant is not fancy, but what more could you want? they have a sizable menu (complete with dish pictures on the wall that puts any japanese restaurant on notice!). happy to visit here next time out in hillsboro.

ochoa's rocks!. i discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and have already been back several times. the food is authentic, tasty and affordable. the man that always greets me with a smile at the counter is welcoming and friendly. it's so worth a trip out to hillsboro....several times a week. note: i don't go for the atmosphere. ochoa's rocks...i'm thinking about heading back out there tonight.

delicious tacos!. i have been to ochoa many times and have sampled so far the tacos, enchiladas, tamales, and fajitas... oh, and breakfast burrito. i would say out of those, the best things were the tacos and the fajitas. i recommend the chicken, because the beef is really salty. haven't tried anything else on the menu, but i like the tacos and fajitas so much that i'm not sure if i'll ever get around to it.

they have the best chili rellenos which will turn you into salsa.

this is the real deal!. my husband and i come here when we want to order a pound of pork carnitas with a side of homemade tortillas or a dozen little tacos with various fillings. the fried chicharones and roasted chicken at the counter says it all. we've witnessed gringos wandering in here expecting american style service and ending up confused and frusterated. this is the kind of restaurant you'd find if you were actually in mexico, left the comforts of resort life and drove to a village where the working class live. it's a beautiful thing. no, it's not really clean, so deal with it. the food it great!
