taprii-the chakafe

it was a good experience. paneer chilly was delicious. hakka noodles were not up to my expectations.
i just want them to improvise on their packing skills.
atleast the food which they are delivering and the respective carry bag should contain the logo or the name of the restaurant or cafe from which we have ordered.

the aura of this place seems to be quite homely. as soon as you enter it seems a different world altogether. had heard a lot about this place and finally got a chance to visit. the interiors are kept quite raw and near to nature yet quirky with the wall paintings. the sitting is homely with ground sitting providing a personal space in a small area. as this place is famous for the chai flavours but sadly i don’t drink chai but have heard a lot about it. well i tried hazelnut cold coffee instead and it was up to the mark. not very thick, not very watery it was good. i also tried the chinese bhel which i haven’t found good at any place since ages and to mention it was very yummy and worth a try !!! exactly like i like it crispy noodles tossed with veggies and sauces. i also tried a different dish named schezwan macaroni and it was a spicy treat to my taste buds. all in all i’m looking forward to visit this place again.

i have had the best saffron tea in town from this place. staffs are amazing and service is quick. i visit this place very often just for their tea during winters and monsoon

the test of both (sandwich & papdi chat) was not good. papdi chat was too much salty.

we went for sunday brunch and because we reached early, we got the place easily.
we ordered kulhad chai, kashmiri kahwa, maggi, tapri special sandwich and mix veg pakoda.
food was really yummy. even the service is excellent. we really liked it.

the ambience is calm and soothing. those mattresses and pillows are just heavenly. food is damn tasty. veg crispy and cheese corn sandwich are a must try. totally value for money. would've given 5 stars but had to wait for about half an hour for the food to arrive. apart from that, great experience.

one of my favourite places, so cute, small and lovely staff. very kind. the food delicious, they take time but the place is so calm and serene. like an inside place could be that? it is. they have games, which is cool. on the floor seating, so traditional, very pretty and comfortable.

i love their maggie, sandwiches and tea.
