tafe terrace cafe

the ambience and live music at this rooftop cafe was great however, the food was extremely overpriced at the quantity they serve. we ordered
mango sushi (4/5),
black bean pot rice with exotic veg (2/5), rosemary sangria (3/5),
kairi panha (4/5).
the pot rice was one of their large plates but the quantity was not enough for 2. we were still hungry after spending around ₹1800.

a nice place for a relaxed dinner. lot of options in mocktails. the mushroom pot rice which was delicious.

chembur finally got a beautiful rooftop restaurant and we absolutely love the ambiance of this place.

if you want to catch the sunset with your loved one while sipping on a coffee, you’ve got to visit them.

the food here is pure veg and they have a wide variety of dishes. from sushi to kadhi chawal they serve everything.

we tried -

ghee roast paneer khari bruschetta (must try)

naam jalebi bai (must try)

tafe terrace is one of the most beautiful rooftop cafe. i’m so happy to have such an amazing rooftop cafe near my place. it’s a pure veg rooftop cafe. you’d definitely love the vibe here & ambience is omg so so beautiful!! you’ll just love the vibe of this place.

food is damn good & worth trying. i tried the california roll, double mushroom dumplings & sweet pepper confit fondue. just loved the food here. it was just excellent in taste & too good in presentation. i personally loved the fondue it was so so amazing! i also tried the blueberry cheesecake for desserts, it was one of the best cheesecakes i’ve had!

ambience of the restaurant is quite good as well as the staff is attentive and professional.
but the food is not upto the mark at all.. ordered a started and pizza.. starter was ok but cold, pizza was really odd (smell was sour and pungent at the same time). 500 rs pizza and couldn't finish half of it.

wouldn't think of visiting this place again.

the place is nice, food presentation is wow but taste is not great of even 50% of presentation. you may visit once to experience, though nothing gr8 to be pulled back to same place.

place is a hype only due to roof dining.
general food quality standards are bad such as:
1. salasa sauce was street quality just such ketchup mixed with few vegetables.
2. in only of our dish we got hair string fried in between the food crust.
3. order jain food and mentioned the bugger that every thing has to be jain and ended up with onions on a pizza.

overall its pathetic dining experience, waste of time and money.

ive been here before. good place. food is okay but one irritating thing i've experienced several times is the option that they've kept open to book slots online which they always deny. might as well remove the option.

overall a very good experience !
we had the jalapeno poppers and fiery potato. the taste was good.
drink were pretty good too.
nice ambience and helpful staff.

trust sachin to guide you with the best dishes. had a great time relishing baos, tibetan momos, thepla tacos and tender gangsters with family. loved the variety, the service is quick and the staff is helpful and courteous:) will visit again.

find an open terrace only veg cafe without alchol, don’t search just visit tafe terrance cafe chembur exactly opp. to bmc office,
we had been there on my birthday , ambiance / fresh cool air was just so relaxing

we started off with
khowsuey w burmese style curried noodle soup :- khowsuey lover if u don’t have this then no point in visiting this place.. it was super duper yum flavor of coconut cream with blend of turmeric & accompanists in soup was scrumptious

manchow soup our way :- super delicious fantastic hot hot manchow soup.. one of the best i ever had

along with soup we ordered for

indian rumali khakra library :- roasted roomali papad with hummus , mutter falfel & marathi thecha , hummus was good taste gets merged with papad but lacked some olive oil dressing , techa was spicy but didn’t got well with this combination

tandoori soya chaap :- soya chaap was not so good no so bad , it overall lacks marinating,soya properly

with this we had corn tempura sushi which was superb & is now my favourite. we also tried the pot rice, schezwan noodles and the cheesecake. it was amazing yummylicious food. we were hosted by samadan and bosco. these two guys were so accommodating and attentive. the service was excellent. keep it up.

yesterday we visited this place.this place is in chembur nearby station 10mins walkable distance from station.
this place have 2floors on the top there is terres sitting arrangement open roof on the 1st floor they have inside sitting arrangement.
if you're looking for cozy place where you can take your family or frds this place is best.
the staff was cooperative and humble they really took good care.
taking about ambience they have huge place and colour full seating arrangement.
the vibe is pretty refreshing 😍
now coming onto food we ordered pizza, mocktail , sushi they have best mocktail and the presentation is so good.
loved the pineapple curry.
we ended with kitkat cake that was so delicious.
they have many many options in mocktail do try it and yes it's a veg restaurant.
bit expensive but worth👍
