disorganized hostess, awful service. tried to have dinner here, was told to wait, yet the couple that came in behind us was seated first. told them what happened, didn't even get an apology. won't be back.

the setting is nice & the food is good, in-general. the photo's broth is very sweet & the prices are a little expensive. but that's what you get at a trendy restaurant. overall, i do like it. i just wish the pho didn't taste off or too sweet.

easily one of savannah's best. my girlfriend and i eat at ta ca at least once a week. the sushi chefs are super and we always get great service from the wait staff. we love to sit outside and enjoy savannah's
weather most of the year. this restaurant is often busy at dinner time because its so good so enjoy!

earlier this week we went to taca, and the food was phenominal. our server was andrew and he took very good care of us, however, he would be super cute except for that dust on his upper lip. it just wouldn't go away! the food was really great though, would definitely go there again!

i was visiting some relatives while traveling through the bible-belt and just happened across this restaurant. the sushi was superb and the staff were all extremely attentive to our every inquiry. our server, drew, was exceptional. i dare say he may have been the best waiter that we have ever had take care of us. the atmosphere was hip and modern, i loved the local art that was showcased on the brightly colored walls,(which looked to be spotless to boot!). i would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a delicious meal while receiving phenomenal service.

great service. five of us reluctantly stopped in for dinner about 8:30 on a sunday night after a long rainy road trip and were pleasantly surprised. i expected to be rushed but found that i shouldn't have lowered my expectations - the staff was attentive and kept the food and drinks coming at the perfect pace. good sushi, friendly atmosphere, attentive service.

i am sorry, but it was horrible!!!. i used to be a frequent visitor to this establishment as it was undoubtedly the best sushi that savannah had to offer...this last visit, before we even sat down the hostess
( rude and unprofessional) asked us when we wanted to drink. since we didn't have time to look at the drink menu we just said water. i waited 1 hour for an order of sushi to arrive and was never asked if i wanted another beverage. the sushi chef was working diligently while the owner (mike) seemed to be completely indifferent to his need of assistance...i have eaten sushi in different restaurants all over the world and this was one of my worst dining experiences. while i know not to expect the quality
of nobu in savannah,i do expect to have adequate service...overall experience has led us to not ever go back!

food was great & even though our waitress was nice the service was awful! it took 10 min to even get water another 10 for her to come back & take our order! took forever to get our salads & yes, u guessed it, forever to get our sushi. i ended taking our bill inside to pay (we sat on the patio) because she never came back to pick it up! great food but if u expect timely service don't go!

great porch seating !. the porch seating is great and dog friendly, which goes a long way with me. the wait staff was friendly and attentive when necessary .the sushi was fresh and i was very impressed with the white tuna and yellow tail. the california roll was smaller than usual and not put together all that well, but it tasted good. spring rolls were fresh and tasty but they were not generous with the sauce. the steak and lobster hibachi was okay. the steak was tender but lacked flavor.however, the sqaush and onions were delicious. the house salad was the pits.it looked and tasted like pre-packaged iceburg lettuce with a scant dash of red cabbage. i was impressed that they had uni but the market price quoted was about 2 to 3 bucks more than what i felt it should be. i know uni is a specialty product and perhaps, it's gone up or i'm just used to atlanta prices, but i think it was a bit over priced. i saw a beautiful bowl of pho on a neighboring table and will probably try that when i return. i will most likely return but probably will not order the house salad.

we chose five rolls to share between the three of us. two were named diablo roll... mik is fond of hot things. another, the tj roll combined tempura shrimp, eel, avocado and a spicy sauce. the jj roll had a unique spin, tuna, avocado, cream cheese and plum. we rounded out our selection with a five point roll: chopped tuna, yellow tail and a spicy top over a california roll. each of the rolls we chose was

i like it...slightly. we happened to find this restaurant after striking out at several others because of holiday scheduling. for a japanese restaurant, they had very limited options for vegetarians, and not a block of tofu in the house. we were able to put together a veggie roll from ingredients they had , an order of edemame which was cooked in salt rather than sprinkling salt on it, and an excellent spring roll with fresh basil and avacado. my partner liked his sliced beef soup although it had a thick layer of grease on top. service was very good. all in all, it was an acceptable meal when not much else was available.

best sushi in savannah -. as fall is starting to come to savannah - outdoor dining is a great treat, and anytime we can find a place to eat outside with lucille - we are game to try. last night we walked down to ta ca and had the best sushi yet in savannah on their outdoor patio. the nigri and sashimi options are plentiful and the portions great for the price. the sushi roll combinations offer both inventive and traditional choices. we had the spicy (very) scallop roll and the dragon roll. our waiter, kyle, was attentive and immediately brought out water for lucille. there is an extensive sake and beverage menu. in addition to sushi they server hibachi and tempura choices along with noodle bowls. everything was fresh and delicious!

terrible, or should i say no, service. this was our 3rd or 4th time in. we were seated and then ignored for 10 minutes before we got up an left. it was 830 on a wednesday and a total of 16 people were in the place so i'm not really sure what the problem was. it seemed like only one server was working while the other 3 were sitting at a table. needless to say, i just walked in to wasabi's and already have my drink.
