wow! loved this little sushi place. just in town visiting and their food was amazing. great service too. everything from the tea to the sushi and miso soup we ordered was super delicious.

small restaurant with limited seating but a good comfortable environment. sushi was decent but the beef teriyaki don bowl was very good. reasonable prices.

today i placed an order for two things i have never had before, the okonomiyaki, and the taiyaki. both were very delicious and i can say i would order them again. along with that i ordered a miso soup and a salmon and tuna nigiri sushi, and as usual the quality of the fish was very good and the soup was rich and yellow. even after not coming for a year the second i stepped into the store he recognized me and gave me an enthusiastic hello. i always love coming here, the variety of the rolls and the creativity of john will always satisfy me. my favorite roll is the hot night!

still going strong!  john's sushi is great, the new decor is charming and cozy.  the prices are amazing.  john's rice bowl is a fan favourite in our house.  cali rolls for days!

my favourite sushi place in abby! the owner is super friendly and the food is delicious!! if you haven't try their maguroage, you should try it someday!

this is by far our favourite sushi place in the fraser valley. if you haven't tried sushiteria yet, you're missing out! don't be fooled by the name of this place: it's not like a cafeteria and it's not a catering-only place! this is a cozy little gem with wonderful staff, warm service, and absolutely delicious sushi. john truly is an artist. you can tell right away that he takes pride in his work, as the sushi is always fresh and impeccably presented. the combinations of ingredients and sauces are superb. the prices and portions are spot on. if you love sushi, give this a try and you won't regret it!

expectations not met.

i was here with my partner and ordered edamame, gyoza, and 4 rolls. the edamame was dry and chewy, gyoza were good. we enjoyed two of the rolls, the dynamite and the avocado and salmon roll. the other two seemed like they were cheap on ingredients and were not fresh. the spicy tuna roll was just a tuna roll with too much sweet chili sauce - was expecting an actual spicy tuna roll, not a cheap sugary sauce on a plain roll. the asparagus roll didn't even have fresh asparagus! it was pickled, which isn't the same thing at all!
overall it was quite disappointing given the prior reviews.

best place to have sushi in abby!. i worked here for 5 months and i still, always visit here as a customer. unlike any other sushi place in abby john never pre-make rolls and prepare them for later. he always keeps it fresh and clean. he never underestimate his customer he always do his best to show them respect with hes fresh food. i highly recommend this place!

amazing food. amazing service. the extra little touches that the owner, john, puts into his restaurant and food are just great. we ordered to go & he drew on our take out container - made my night when we discovered it at home! went there for the first time tonight & was very impressed. good prices too as a bonus!

our favorite sushi restaurant in abbotsford. we have been going to sushiteria since they opened, around 7 years ago... great place... john, the owner, is the nicest guy and always so kind and welcoming... the food is great, very well presented... service is excellent... prices are very reasonable... a place to go for sure!

the first dragon i have loved. my favorite roll **dragon roll **. awesome and beautiful. john is an artist! love coming here with my family and lunch withy girlfriends. john always welcomes us with a smile.

john is the bomb. sushiteria is my favorite sushi place in all the lower mainland. the food is amazing and the price can't be beat. plus john (the guy that makes your sushi) is super friendly.
would highly recommend.

possibly the best salmon nigiri i've ever
eaten. the tuna nigiri was in my top 5. even the miso soup was delicious. only thing is ... they need to get a licence to sell saki. otherwise it's my new favourite sushi place. move over tojo!
