sushido

service and sushi has gone downhill!. my husband and i had been going to sushido's for quite a few years. we even had a completely full "frequent customer card"...until today. note that the other reviews are from several years ago...

while dining this afternoon before going to see a show, we ordered four of the roll specials off the lunch special. my husband and i were both given miso soup, which this afternoon was pretty watered down, and also edamame. the edamame was fine, but like i said, the miso soup just didn't cut it.

while my philadelphia roll was okay (not as good as it has been in the past because the smoked salmon was pretty skimpy) my spicy tuna tempura was just plain nasty. the tempura was greasy, which made the roll and rice super sticky and they doused it in low-quality mayonnaise that was warm on the sushi. i ate 3 out of the 8 total pieces, finally i gave one to my husband to try, since he is japanese and is a pretty good judge of sushi. he said i was right, it was lousy.

we talked to the waitress, and both showed and explained the problem. we asked if i could please have a different type of roll. she said yes and apologized for roll. we assumed she was bringing the new roll to us. not only did it not come at all, but they charged for the half eaten roll, (full price!) without even any consideration for the fact we've been loyal customers for years.

i was so frustrated that they would treat us that way (we've spent plenty of money there, too!) apparently the slow service and rude treatment of loyal customers is going to be the norm. we are done. i gave them back their "loyalty card" in pieces. never going back again.

the service is great, and the food is fantastic.  i highly recommend their mariner roll.
i will definitely be going back again, and taking some friends with me.

they have great sushi here. it takes a while to have it be served to your table because it's cooked fresh. it's usually busy and the owners are pretty nice.

i love this place! it has become my go to for dinner with freinds and family alike. when i say i frequent this establishment, it is an understatement. we use the reward card often and it is a nice treat for being a regular. who doesn't like to save cash, seriously, it is like 9.00/9.50 off of your meal with a full card! 
we eat in and we get take out, and every time is it is out of this world. i have seen other ratings and they are older, and a bit off putting to some i am sure. do not listen to those older reveiws, get in to this little place asap. i have never had to wait long at all, to be seated, or for a drink to arrive or for my food to be served perfectly. they are super friendly here, they accommodate my food allergy *avacado* and they will make my food however requested. the price is not bad for quality sushi. i saw some people comment on the price on other review pages. here is the deal, if you want fish that is going to melt when you put in your mouth, you have to expect a price. even in saying that, i have spent a lot more money at places without such quality food, not happliy, but it has happened!!! i highly suggest ending your meal with the strawberry mochi, it is so goooooood!

good service, good food, really good price. one of my favorite sushi restaurants and it's now open on sundays. give it a try when you're in town. keep being awesome guys.

just moved here from baltimore and was excited to find a sushi place so closeby. nice surprise having edamame and miso soup served upfront for nothing extra. lots of great sushi rolls nice option being able to order 1/2 rolls to try out. everything we ordered was amazing and couldn't believe the great price! service a little slow due to minimal staff but super nice and great food! we'll definitely be back!

it's a do-over!. just came from there for the first time and we'll be back many more. loved it! we had the sounder, the mariner, the mexican one (forget it's name) and the crunch. and the hot saki. great dinner - different - and not expensive. yum.

love food, creative names, but sorry, a bit afraid of the "taste like my ex-wife roll", they need to create "spicy hot new wife roll ", that is more delicious !
