for the most part, the food tasted good, but it wasn't the quality of sushi like we prefer. our waitress was great! we will be going to a better place for the real thing next time. i was taught how to make sushi rolls by some older japanese friends, and made it for years, so quality is important when we go out for it.

awesome variety. my husband and i went to eat here when we first moved into the area. it was not busy, but we came in a little after lunchtime. there was a great variety of sushi to choose from and we both really enjoyed our choices. i also ordered the bulgogi bowl and it was just as delicious as the sushi choices. it's a small business so don't expect to walk in and get your food really fast. there was only 1 server (who waited and answered the phone) and then there was 1 sushi chef and we only saw 1 cook in the back. however, taking it how it was ... it all was fresh and cooked to order. loved it!

can't believe those good reviews. came here on a weeknight with my husband; we were the only customers at dinnertime! immediately ordered sushi as an appetizer; waited, waited, waited - couldn't catch any server's attention whatsoever -- then they came to take our order for the main course. waited, waited, waited, waited, waited......no music or other vibe going on, no attention paid to us...... finally everything came at once. appetizer and main dish. my entree, yakisoba with chicken, was not really hot, the meat was tough, the sauce was too salty. my companions, a deconstructed sushi bowl with a name beginning with "ch" was so-so. sorry that this place has no customers at dinner; understand why.

great food, cozy atmosphere, friendly service and the chef is the real deal!!! go here, get some sushi (or try his own recipe for bulgogi which is excellent) then start a conversation and you will leave happy with the food and the experience!!!
