was looking for a sushi restaurant in the market and glad i decided to check out sushi fresh. situated at the same location as lapointe's restaurant, the place is small (but you can eat downstairs) and nothing fancy, but the sushi was great. i was pleasantly surprised to see that all the staff (waitress and chefs) were women (nice change). we had the chef special for 2 (which includes 2 miso soups, a california roll, a salmon roll and 14 assorted nigiri) as well as the caterpillar roll, which was my favourite. the fish was fresh and the presentation was immaculate. only negative is that the rice tended to fall apart. delicious nonetheless. i would go back in a heart beat!
