...you cannot resist the smell of the biscuits. it is deafening they smell so good (you heard?). the menu is full of whatever you could ever dream of getting on a biscuit. of course i went with the chicken breast and egg biscuit. after eating this golden, flaky, butter induced biscuit, there is no doubt that this has saved lives on a hung over day. add the egg and breaded chicken to the mix and it is simply euphoric. as ashley came to the last few bites, she looked me in the eyes and said, "i don't want this to end". literally, straight out of a movie

a chapel hill classic. small and long lines at times but gotta love the biscuit kitchen...when in chapel hill a must for breakfast

nomnomnom!!! i love sunrise. what a lot of people don't know is that there is a tiny indoor area where you can pick up a biscuit. when the line is backed up on franklin, you can sneak in and get your breakfast quick!

best fresh biscuits!. since we live close to sunrise biscuit kitchen, and not my dad's, we love to go there on the weekends for fresh biscuits. as you drive through you can see them mixing up and patting out the made-from-scratch pieces of fluffy goodness. admittedly not a big fan of the toppings, i usually stick to honey or just plain-jane and add something from home.
its an extremely small place, so be prepared to wait on the weekends if you go during a peak time, or you can always park next door and walk over.

heaven. always great food with a smile. my kids love it here and i do too! real biscuits, made fresh. what an awesome way to start the day.

buttery biscuit. golden, buttery, flaky biscuit. the hash brown cake is also buttery and golden. the egg and cheese part was so-so, but next time i'll just get a biscuit and a hash brown. the unsweetened ice tea tasted great.

thank god they give you napkins.

fantastic! great biscuits and simple menu makes this place great. they obviously are focusing on what they do best. try the blt...it's awesome!

ambivalent. the biscuits are definitely big, and there's a huge difference between their food and, say, a mcd's pre-fabricated concoction. way better bacon than mcd's. but not great, and didn't like their gravy. it's probably blasphemy, but i actually prefer biscuitville.
