excellent ambiance. self service as well as table service. very friendly and a delightful array of food. delicious croissants and home made bikkies plus good coffee! fantastic and complete thumbs up.

although i got the cappuccino on my white shoes, i had a nice experience here. the hazelnut profiteroles and cappuccino were super great for the sunny afternoon. the tiramisu was also great! pudding was a little bit too sweet for me but still recommend.

sud forno on queen west at manning is a packed italian counter service sandwicherie, patisserie and bakery on the ground floor with italian open face delights such as the pictured  flatbreads, cannoli, tangy lemon tartellettas (excellent!), with limited seating on the street side bar stools.  i will try the restaurant upstairs and report.

the weekday lunch menu here at sud forno sneaks up all of a sudden! they have a choice of servings of mixed greens, pizzas, lasagna and some different savories to look over. the sweet determination is additionally promising. attempted the pasta and pine mushroom plate of mixed greens, and a mushroom based pizza with a companion. cherished the lunch and the vibe. aside from this, you can likewise make the most of their morning meal contributions with an exceptionally pleasant espresso.

are you looking for delicious pastries, crusty loaves of bread, and lunch items that are delicious but overpriced? want to be ignored by staff as they fawn over a regular or one of the six's beautiful people? search no more. no, seriously - stop searching. go elsewhere.

rum baba is delicious here. loved the sweet cream with rum soaked bread and toasted almonds. their cookies and biscuits are great here too. i tried the pecan one. it's buttery and crumbles in the mouth. sandwiches looked delicious.

love the pizzas here as well and the bombelinis, they’re the perfect bite-sized snack! the pistachio cookies here are also a favourite of mine!

been quite impressed with decorations at this place. interesting, creative and something new. however, didn’t like the way you should go back and forth to buy food and drinks separately. have nothing against self service, but there’s only one person who is a bartender and barista at the same time, so it takes forever to get your drink.
but overall, nice.

lemon gelato is divine! it is the perfect treat for the summer time. i love the little eating area on queen street to eat your food. the staff were fairly nice. it is owned by terroni so they had the c't mang pizza that looked very yummy.

brought to your by the same owners of terroni, sud forno is an italian bakery opened just a few doors down from the original terroni location on queen street west. the interior feels modern but also as if you’ve momentarily stepped a century or two back in time. though there are only a few window seats on the first floor, don’t let the small shop fool you! the upstairs have a beautiful long wooden communal table to sit at and it’s got a rustique, hipster feel towards it.

what a treat discovering this place! it's a great place with a whole array of selections: pastries, salads, & pizzas, to name a few; i tried the chocolate & almond cake and their nutella donuts, the donut was amazin! i will definitely have to go back & try some of their other delectable treats.

love this place for a quick bite at lunch. they have a large variety of pizzas, salads and desserts. the staff are friendly and efficient and are very helpful in making suggestions when you can't decide what you'd like to order. don't forget to grab some chilli peppers by the pizza counter that will add a nice little kick to your meal.

amazing desserts - their rhum baba melts in your mouth! i also like their cannolini and bomboloni.

i haven't tried the pizzas yet as they do not have many veggie options...

what a great little place if you're looking for a quick bite to eat. pizza, salads, paninis, coffee, and more. take it to go or dine in and have your meal upstairs where you can enjoy at a communal table.
they're owned by terroni next door so expect the same love and respect for their food! the staff are super delightful as well.
