stone waters - kitchen & lounge

visited this place on 21st afternoon with a lot of expectations as i keep listening to their live music in my building every night. 

so first of all we sat there with great expectations regarding the overall experience. the tables and chair are not in a good position to sit and not at all comfortable even though the view from the top is mesmerising. we took the roof top place.

food - we ordered veg manchurian, taipei chicken, pesto spaghetti, mexican pizza, and 2 combos (one veg and other non veg). except the spaghetti ..all were bad.. they use lot of food colours which is a complete no for any upscale restaurant. pizza was too hard and tasted bad. veg manchurian and taipei chicken was full of colours. not visiting again at least for food. the veg combo was okayish which had dal makhni (bad), 2-3 pcs of 2 inch naan, paneer tikka(okayish) and jeera rice(good) and some kind of chocolate fudge (bad). in non veg combo, we had fish tikka(good), paneer butter masala(bad and full of colour), pulao(okayish) and 2-3 pcs of 2 inch naan and again the same bad chocolate fudge. the 2 mock tails served were too sweet..i think it was complimentary. so pissed of i was that didn't even ask them who ordered and other people in the group had it.

service - it was pathetic. they didnt even have normal water. the stewards and captain who were serving made us feel as they were obliging us by giving food. just came and put the dish on table and went. no smile, no courtesy to ask..nothing. they need a lot of training.

ambience - ambience was fine as it was roof top. the two marks are for that

total bill was 1832 using 1 zomato gold and not at all value for the experience. i would like to visit them once for their live music and liquor. otherwise a complete no!

live music by harish and martin, was amazing because of the choice of the songs. it was a beautiful night with good music, food and friends. really liked the prawn appetizers, old fashion drink.

loved the live performances and the rooftop ambience at night ...

3/4 dessert options from the menu were unavailable. literally.

the mojito though, was fabulous!
quite a few drinks were unavailable too. a drink as basic as daiquiri was unavailable. another basic thing unavailable was french fries.

the manager flat out said ‘sometimes it happens, you’ll have to deal with it. what can i do?’ that was even more disappointing. in one night, the drink we wanted, french fries and 3/4 dessert being unavailable was apparently a coincidence. i find that strange. but hey, what can you do when the manager simply says sorry!

had heard such good things about this place, unfortunately, the visit was a really bad experience.

the ambience was beautiful but apart from the beauty, there’s not much they offer. apart from the manager who was definitely not courteous, the rest of the staff was really sweet.

apart from giving the best views of kbr park, stone waters has a decent spread of food and beverage options. we ordered multiple items, but the common consensus was that veg noodles were the best. this along with the live music made the evening well done. 
some of the pain points were, as with every cafe/pub, the lighting was dimmer than usual and the tables were too compactly placed.
on the whole, the experience was good, but not that much in food as in other peripherals.

one time visit.

this is an amazing place, which generally has great live music performances. our experience was slightly marred by the lack of table space available, since we were a big group, and we just had 1 table to us.

i guess due to the crowd that day, the delivery service was also a little slow, but the food and drinks more than made up for the slow service.

i would say that you should definitely visit this place once, and especially check the live band performance beforehand.

we went to stone waters on a friday night to listen to some live music. i had booked a table there and reached a bit late but luckily got a good table anyway. it was not exactly near the band stage, but was decent nonetheless. the band was really cool and played some soulful music. the food was decent too. overall there was a good vibe to the place. only place i didn't like was that they didnt allow us to sit or even stand near the band saying that area was reserved for a private party, whereas it was clearly not.

being a vegetarian, the menu at first will appear as if you’ve entered a restaurant serving only meat. however with a keen eye to choose food a relative chose amazing dishes from the menu. the best was the paneer tikka with a super blend of spices and tangy flavours.

the live music setup is splendid as they play tunes right from old bollywood to latest happening songs you listen to on your playlist.

all-in-all, a good place to visit with friends and same age relatives.

could have served food much properly! the spiciness of the food is absolutely great and the food there is amazing!! must try it !

the place has lost its charm. service has gone down the drain. food quality also has gone down. there are people sitting on tables for hours who don't order when people are standing . management had no clue to manage a saturday crowd.

the place is not worth the hype created for the same. the music is good and everything but the place lacks the same in the quality for food and service. the food is below average and the service is really slow. but still rating the place as because of the overall experience based on the music and ambience. a nice place if the sole moto to visit the place is drink and enjoy with your friends.

good place to be with family and friends. food was very good here. my friends went again post that felt good  and had a good time having food here.

the music by pawandeep rajan and band was amazing. pizza and pasta were good. overall very good experience.
