by far the best we've had while staying in santa rosa beach. the service was superb from valet to wait staff even going the extra mile to seat our large group quicker than expected. everyone in our party of 8 raved about the food, from apetezers to entrees.

new favorite destin restaurant! we missed out on stinky's a few years ago, but i'm really glad we made time for it this year! in fact, we ate there twice! everyone loved it, and we all agreed it has moved near the top of our favorite destin restaurants. the food is fantastic, the staff is attentive and enthusiastic, and the menu has something for everyone. the kid's menu is also expanded to include more items than a typical kid's menu. i had the fowl gumbo and the "taste of stinky's", both of which were great! the gumbo had a dark roux and was filled with duck, chicken, and andouille sausage. the sampler had catfish, shrimp and grits, and crawfish pie. hard to pick a favorite between those three. one thing i noticed is that the mixed vegetables were different and of better quality than what is typical for most restaurants. we all left stinky's very satisfied and with a full belly. i would like to try the sunday brunch. the menu for it looked very tasty. also, they have opened up a new taco stand further down the beach. might check it out next time. be sure to check out the turtle pond and the gift shop on your way out. i will say that they get very busy after 5-5:30. the second night we went back they had complimentary valet parking starting at 4:30.

way overpriced for the amount of food you get. the fish was tasty and well prepared, just not a good value at all.

stinky's fish camp: a great place for a seafood dinner. my wife and i had a great seafood supper at stinky's friday evening 05/01/2015. the place offers a large menu and great seafood. particularly good was their house soup special - as well as their blackened grouper. the view over the lagoon behind the restaurant was interesting, and the atmosphere was friendly. the service was quite good. this place is a bit more expensive - at $109 for the two of us including tips - but the food was great. i would recommend getting there early on a friday evening - as they don't take reservations - but rather put you on a wait list upon arrival. we actually managed to get seated within 5 minutes of arrival by deciding to dine at the bar. and valet parking was free this evening (i.e. tips).

dinner at stinky's was great. the car attendant was so friendly, and that was just the beginning. jamie was our server and was delightful! she made some wonderful suggestions, which we followed, and enjoyed a delicious dinner. the squash appetizer is excellent and the stew was outstanding. we will be back and will let our friends & family know what a great place stinky's is.

on our memorial day trek to the florida panhandle, we were looking forward to trying stinky's fish camp (sounds appetizing...right?? ;) ) after our hosts raved about it. it's sort of a louisiana-meets-florida-seafood-shack.  overall, we were not disappointed, other than by the fact that we stopped in for lunch when the highly recommended dishes of crawfish pie and catfish meuniere (not to be confused with manure ...french can be tricky language!  :p ) were not available.  this is a casual local and tourist hangout...nothing fancy going on, but the beer was cold, the prices reasonable, and seafood was fresh and tasty. we started with some delish crawfish hushpuppies...which were crisp on the outside...tender and chock full of crawfish chunks on the inside.  so good!

stinky's is a favorite.... after three years of dining at stinky's, i can honestly say that this may be my "top favorite" dining spot in destin... the food is consistently fantastic. there are a ton of great restaurants in the area, but you rarely find an establishment that regularly delivers awesome food, at reasonable prices, with a smile on their face. no wonder i eat here at least once a year, every time i'm close to 30-a. read my other reviews of this place... "taste of stinky's", that is all i have to say.

another satisfying experience... love stinky's. my wife and i did the stinky's experience for a second time, with a large group of friends and family. just like our first visit, last year, everything was over-the-top.

do the "taste of stinky's", just do it... don't think about it, just do it. you get a sampler of some of their best dishes, including crab cakes, crawfish pie, and catfish meuniere - a perfect the entree that showcases their love for creole/cajun. the house fries are, simply, amazing.

before the entree, order the bienville or baked oysters as an app... you can't go wrong with the crawfish hushpuppies or the heirloom tomato salad, either.

the staff is super friendly and accommodating... get there early, because this place packs out. don't worry about parking, as it is valet only.

when it comes to destin, cajun/creole cuisine, my favorite, go-to places are stinky's and louisiana lagniappe. you can't go wrong going to either of these establishments, and it is worth every penny.

well done, stinky's... we'll be back in july!

wow... really well done.. go... just go. everything on the menu is fantastic.

yes, the taste of stinky's is phenomenal... crab cake rivals that of the best i've tasted. the catfish meuniere is probably the best "catfish" i've put in my mouth, and the crawfish mixture, that goes into the pot-pie and on top of the bienville oysters, is divine. also, forgot to mention the cubed, fried potatoes... heavenly. hope they serve them for brunch!!!!

really well done... one of my favorites. this place is up there with, if not better than, jubilee joe's in birmingham. loved it.

best oysters at stinky's and stinky stew!. i had the best bloody mary i've ever had plus a great oyster experience at stinky's. not being able to decide -i had stinky's oyster platter- 3 oysters in each of ways they serve them presented on a log! omg was this out of this world! what a great tasting experience. highly recommend ! perfection and so tender. don't leave stinky's with out trying the oyster log, and the stinky's stew a bowl full of seafood goodness! an experience you'll never forget and order often. can hardly wait for next vacation to destin and stinky's.
