stg pizzeria-gelateria

love this spot in beautiful downtown tulsa. perfect for a casual date night. great pizza, salad with prosciutto and gelato, also nice atmosphere.

food was average, price was out of line for the area.  if i were going for a date night i'd spend this kind of casholi but for a lunch on a weekday...forgetaboutit.  two for tuesdays sounds like a good deal until you realize it'll still be $20 per person!  unfortunately i won't be returning until i hear of a dramatic price decrease.

we had the americano pizza and the bruschetta, both were just okay. i'd give it another shot because the gelato is worth coming back for. service was good.

made a last minute decision to go here last sunday. first impression, great location and fun atmosphere. my sister and i decided to share a pizza and it was great size for us two. we ordered the parma, dang was it delicious!!! i was kind of blown away. i loved to how they served water out of glass bottles that you take to your table, very cute. i'll definitely be going back!

finally a great pizza, with high quality ingredients, excellent crust, and without all the mess found in "common" pizzas.

the pizza is simple, light and fresh, like the original italian pizza. i advice not to load it with toppings (maybe just choose one over basic margherita). try margherita with speck, or the margherita with buffalo mozzarella.

truly a great italian pizza experience. from the glass water bottles (and small glass drinking cups) to the integrity of pizza ingredients, stg brings italy to tulsa. reasonably priced pizzas, excellent outside seating area, and friendly staff. we will definitely go back!

we just stopped in for dessert. the lemon gelato was great!

wonderful!. i went with a couple of friends on a friday night and even though it seemed packed, the friendly staff helped us find a table in no time. it is "chipotle style" - as in you stand in line to place your order before finding a table - but if it's crowded just hang out around the gelatto and sample away!

the pizza is delicious and i'm already planning on what i want to try next time i visit. highly recommend.

i went to italy tonight!. did i just take a quick trip to italy this evening? i think so! we enjoyed the margherita stg & parm pizzas and with the first bite there was silence at our table. the san marzano sauce was incredible. it tasted like tomatoes picked that day from my garden; so flavorful & fresh tasting. we can't wait to go back. when you go, take note of the line at the order counter. if it's long, don't be a jerk & make people wait while you take a leisurely lunch or dinner; seats are at a premium.

good pizza and gelato but won't return. the pros are pretty good pizza. not quite the same as in italy but close. excellent crust. the gelato is really good but the farm's location tastes better for some reason. quick service.

the cons are a little expensive at ~$15/pizza which only feeds one. the chairs are uncomfortable (4 out of 5 thought so). last, you send $74 for 4 pizzas, you would think they could afford a pizza cutter to slice it. but no. "that is what the knife is for" was their answer. 5/5 thought that was a wrong answer and a stupid policy not to cut the pizza. the dull knives caused mutilated messy pizzas making everyone not happy, especially the guy who had part of it flip onto his lap. the last con is minor but indicative. they have two flags. a usa flag and another flag. no one knew what the other flag was. same flashy style lacking the finishing touches.

overall, can only recommend the gelato even if it is ~$5 per person. the high cost of the pizza and cheap/trendy??? idea of not slicing the pizza makes us want to go elsewhere. will not return.
