good beer, average food. admittedly, the food isn't anything to write home about. it's all what you would expect, burgers, sandwiches, simple pasta dishes, salads, etc. all of it is fairly average, but i wouldn't say it's bad by any means. the beer however more than makes up for the mediocrity of the food. their ipa is seriouly good. so much so that i bought a growler of it to take home.

in the future, i think i would come here to drink, then walk down the street to the electric station for dinner.

we've been enjoying steelhead for years. my wife gets the cajun pasta every time and the last two visits it has not been up to par. the last time it was bland and over oily. my halibut was good, tots and salads were good. our server was delightful and professional. but due to the disappointment of the pasta it will be a while before we go back

just ok-. i go here maybe once a month and have experienced both poor/slow and wonderful service, just depends on the day/time of day, etc. i guess-
food sometimes arrives not as ordered-too polite to send anything back-

yes, steelhead is a little boring. nothing really great or distinguishing but nothing really bad either. from another angle, you could say it’s very reliable. i’ve eaten there 10 times in the last 6 months, so there must be something attractive there. eit

eugene is a beer town with a running problem. the birthplace of nike. u of o centric, steelhead has been around and serves some of the best simple pub food. great for lunch or dinner business meetings where beer is on the agenda. so, i guess it is european that way. our actual ranking is about 3.7ish

great beer, great food, great service, not much more to ask for. thanks steelhead for doing such a fantastic job. wish we had one in our home town in washington state.

great beer, good food, attentive service. yes, it is pub food but would rate it high on the scale for that genre. will definitely visit here again!

the food is just that... average pub food. the root beer would beat any other root beer in america - hands down. the vanilla and honey makes it easy to down 4-5 bottles during your meal.

decent. i tried steelhead brewing company earlier this week. it's a great downtown eugene, brewpub atmosphere. the beer was excellent and so was the service. the food, however, was just average. i had the reuben and added onion rings.

the sandwich was fairly soggy and pretty unremarkable. not bad, just not anything worth nothing. the onion rings were low-end, frozen rings. bleh. i was very disappointed in there considering i was paying decent prices at a fairly trendy locale.

i might go back, but i'm probably more inclined to try something else (in fact, walked right past it the next night to try another place).

i like it i think but..... i seem to only go here in summer so i can dine outside. that is a plus as are the fish tacos and fish and chips . however you must be very patient and not be in a hurry to eat or get a beverage refill as the outdoor staff is lacking .
fix that and your a good solid 9 !

don't come here if you're hungry or like good service. it took us two hours to get our food, and it wasn't very good when we got it. they never even refilled our water while we were waiting. i'm never coming back!

great!. enjoyed the food, had a twisted meniscus-- it was great. i'd go there again, great service and very friendly.

the brewery tacos(steak) were amazing! service was fine and price was fair. thumbs up!

if you're in the neighborhood, go to cornucopia or granary pizza. steelhead's servers are downright rude, food is mediocre at best, and brews are subpar and nasty. next time we will wait for a table at cornucopia.
