i recently took a friend to starting gate because i liked the food, which was simple and plentiful on the several occasions i've been there with my family.
here's the problem... the other customers are incredibly rude!
my friend ordered a refill of his diet coke. a "gentleman" at the next table looked at us and said something like "good, now you can both lose weight". there is no way the waitress didn't hear him but she said nothing.
if that had been the end of it, that would have been bad enough.
we chose to ignore this man's snide comment to brainstorm on a creative project we are working on but when our food arrived this jerk announced "well at least the noise level is about to go down".
it was all i could do not to cry and throw my coffee in his face.
i will never go back. no food is worth being treated so horribly!
