worst biryani i have ever tasted. over cooked rice like a rubber. mutton prices was smelling bad

taste of the briyani is good but my package the gravy leaked amd spilled everywhere.they should pack tightly.

i’ve heard so many people talk about this restaurant where you get good biryani. i’ve decided to go ahead and try it. well tbh the taste is good. but the service isn’t that good. service needs to be improved way better. it started in 1890, which tells us that they have a unique taste of their own. i’d suggest you go there and try once. ⁣⁣

being a hardcore traveller itz olways very exciting to try varities in different states this time while travelling from andhra to kodaikanal came across this hotel on highway and blieve me it was so amazing to have this lovely biriyani it ws just wow rice seems to be dull in color bt believe me guys dnt go on looks cz generally we assume luking at the bright color but this is a traditional biriyani with awesome flavour tried egg biriyani , chicken biriyani , mutton biriyani egg masala n chapati evrything turned simply delicious !! star biriyani ur seriosly a star level biriyani for all dose lovely biriyani lovers !! hygiene is good , ambience olso good location is olso good !!staff very humble so i grade them too 3 stars for the service and politenesss !!

there is no doubt about star biriyani's taste and variety ,but i was upset with home delivery. i ordered through zomato app, instead of finger fish they gave me chicken 65. i don't know where it went wrong, either at star's side or at zomato's side. one wired thing which i noticed was the delivery person covered his face  (except eyes) with a scarf in spite of shade, appt  and 3rd flr .

good ambience in a prime location. pondicherry is generally known for its exhausting options to dine. but even with so much options around, it never satisfied briyani lovers. that’s where star briyani comes in. though it’s not as good as thalapakatti briyani, you can have a tasty, hot and a spicy one. it’s better than 99% of briyani‘ sin pondicherry. a must place to visit for a lunch with the family.

tasty biryani... u can deliciously taste a different taste of biryani... u will never get disappointed... staff are good and polite... can increase the quantity of biryani... one of the best place for biryani... they make biryani in siraga samba rice, a different taste to try...
