sorry. i had heard great things about this place. my boyfriend made the reservation for our anniversary, and we were excited. but... slow service, average food, and really high prices. the place is nice for atmosphere, but you expect to be treated well when you pay that much for dinner. we were not. i can’t recommend this place because i know there is so much better in new brunswick, at less cost. was disappointed because i had really high hopes. it’s a shame. but we won’t go back.

no thank you! so disappointed! enjoyed this place for over ten years. things have changed for the worse. unimpressive food, mediocre service, overpriced menu items. again, so deeply disappointed!

class with character. i came for the burger, and left with a new outlook on life. it is no wonder that stage left holds the title for best burger in central jersey. the burger meat itself is very high grade. the cheese is aged 3 years and is absolutely fantastic. the fries are wedge style and perfectly crispy, and the sauce on the side is phenomenal. the atmosphere of the joint is very upscale coupled with very friendly employees. you can't lose. but be prepared to shell out some coin because it isn't cheap.

dinner was a huge hit!. my office mates and i recently celebrated the completion of a project with dinner at stage left. could not have gone better! great food - wonderful, discreet staff. the wine list was awesome - lot's of unique gems. we ended the night with cigars and port in the outdoor cafe. great way to celebrate!

definitely has gone downhill.. i have dined at this restaurant many times over the years. the chefs have changed frequently which make consistency absent. the service borderlines on the arrogant. the prices are too high.

although it has been a while since i was there the memory of the meal lives on. i felt completely out of place for the first five minutes but once i was intranced by the food i forgot where i was. from service to dessert one of the best experiences.

what a night!. wife and i had a date night and decided to go to stage left. either we got lucky or the place is just over the top when it comes to service. francis, the owner/chef came over and told us about the philosophy of the restaurant and deidre made sure we understood what each dish was about. ended the evening with an impromptu lesson on irish whiskeys. will definitely return.

amazing food, great service, awesome experience. i love this place. i've been going there since they opened, and have never been let down. the burgers will spoil you for other restaurants, because you will never find one as good as stage left's. the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. even the owners will visit your table to make sure everything is above par. the wine list is so extensive, you'll want to try a new one every time you go. so amazing... i'd definitely recommend it!!
