bag lady. i travel back and fourth to hawaii. i was turned on to this new spicy house place but really turned off by this little old lady who looked like a bag lady looking like a clown. at first i thought she was the owner the way she talked (screeched) and was telling customers to sit down and eat the food.
the food is excellent but that woman so annoying!!!

this is best thai restaurant of the west side but the best of all in o'ahu! the restaurant isn't a fancy place but enough to make you feel comfortable. the food is wonderfully good and i highly recommend thai pad as it's one of my favorites. sweet chili shrimp, my goodness! the service is good. plenty parking. it's between maili and nanakuli. only negative is the staff that needs to smile more often and i don't have a problem with that.

worth a drive west. superb thai. unimpressive location camouflages memorable food. bring a bottle of vino and enjoy an authentic home-style meal..really nice soup...i had the eggplant basil; my lady had a curry. both outstanding.

great thai food! the atmosphere was not fancy, and we had some issues with service (the waiter forgot to put in one if our entrees) but the server seemed to be new and still getting trained, and was obviously a little nervous and trying very hard. the food was awesome, we had an amazing curry and pad thai. would highly recommend.

excellent & affordable leeward thai food. perhaps the best food west of ko 'olina and another great reason for shedding some of those honolulu prejudices against the west side. i'm 6 for 6 when introducing this place to friends & family -- all have absolutely loved the food and the prices, which are mostly in the $8 range. in this case, "spicy" = "excellently seasoned," not "high heat." humble outside appearance but very pleasant inside. friendly servers and diverse customers. location is on the main road (farrington) in the maili section of the leeward coast, between waianae and nanakuli. open 11 to 8:30 daily.

great food and service. first time eat at this spicy house thai restaurant.. they have a great food and excellence service and the price is reasonable . i will definately come back as my usual restaurant to dine out. i would recommand this place for any body that love thai and lao food.

had a great lunch here. authentic thai food in maile: ordered the pho, fried calamari, spring rolls, and spicy panang curry. excellent service, very reasonable prices. we'll be back the next time we are on this side if oahu
