went to lunch with a friend from work. this place is very cute, eclectically decored and oozing with old world charm.
i can definitely see myself some evening here, drinking wine and listening to a live jazz band.
friend had the melinda panini ($13) - thin tender breaded chicken, with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and arugula on a baguette, dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. accompanied with a small spring mix salad. he enjoyed it very much.
initially i wanted the lello panini, but changed my choice when i was advised they served the eggplant with the skin on. i enjoyed the donatto panini ($11) - spinach, buffalo mozzarella and tomato on a baguette, dressed with olive spread. mine was also accompanied with a small spring mix salad.
was a bit disappointed by the lack of a/c and the canned soda, but the food was good and atmosphere great.
