amazing place. great food. best south indian food in all manali. the owner is the best. perfect atmosphere. great for family and friends. will visit again

the food is not at all oily, this is not a regular dosa , idli place, it’s special food. kranti, the owner is a very hospitable man.

we are still at the cafe, but i wanted to post this review before the euphoria of this amazing food. the food was indeed soulful, if you are craving some lip smacking southern food head straight to southern souls cafe. the red chutney with the paniyaram was great, sweet spicy and blow your lid off. uttampam and podi masla dosa were great too ! we loved every bit of it, with unmatched service and smile ! not to forget the soulful instrumental music! 😇

this place was one of the best part of trip to manali. wonderful taste of food. i haven't seen such hospitality the way that they serve. excellent service. everything was prepared fresh and it's so tempting that you feel like ordering again n again. i would like to thank sourthern souls cafe to make my trip a wonderful one with lots of loveable memories hinged with spices and flavours. 10/10🙏❤️❤️

best south indian cuisine you can come across in manali.

its strange when you have lived 4 years in chennai and you experience your best masala dosa in manali.

i will keep this cafe even above your mall road visit in manali.

most importantly intellectual owner mr. kranthi. sit and have some conversation with him.

i am so in love with this heavenly place, even though i was in manali for a very less time (approx 10 days), i used to visit this place almost everyday because of its authentic food menu and homely taste. the host, “mr. kranthi” is a very humble and gem of a person. you would love his company as he has so many interesting facts and experiences to share. the reason i said that the food is “homely” because it is cooked by his wife. she herself prepares the whole food menu and other special items like “mor milagai”, “assorted chutneys” etc..
hence i would totally recommend this place if you love south indian food.

i was so elated to find this awesome south indian cafe on the quite streets of dhungri(small hamlet near hadimba temple) manali. the food tasted great and i loved the vibe. the hosts are very welcoming and interactive. must visit if you are around this area. happy tummy ☺️

the owner kranthi is a gem of a person. he has a great story to tell and amazing food to go with it. the family serves the best south indian food in manali. if ever i go to manali again it will be to visit southern souls cafe for their amazing food.

the best south indian food i have had in the north! the host kranti was very sweet and made us jain food which is so rare here, some of the other restaurants actually told us it was too much ‘kasht’ to customise food like that! thanks to them we found southern souls !! the food and specially the hospitality was amazing! dosas, paniyaram and the homemade sodas were the best! thanks a lot kranti :)
