one of the best asian fusion places i’ve been to, wish i could have ordered everything on the menu! we ordered the dumplings and salt and pepper squid which were both 10/10. the drinks were very yum they had a large range of unique cocktails.

it started from the time we walked in. no one was there to see to us, and we were booked in. not impressed.

the platter for four was like a starter instead of a main, and the amount it cost was rediculous for what we got. there was also nothing 'authentic japanese' about the food except for the chopsticks....

they only serve one type of beer, otherwise it was cocktails or wine, and my partner had to go to the bar and get the drinks himself as no one came back to take our drink order.

wont be going back there, i can make better & cheaper 'kebabs' at home.

the food has a lot to be desired.

the platter for 4 says serves 4 well either 4 little people.

quite expensive so if you are going take a load of money.

went to snug with 3 friends (ravenous) we thought we’d try the share platter as it says 4-6 people, we ended up ordering 4 more sides as it definitely wasn’t enough. best not to go hungry 😆 the food as always was impeccable although we disliked the beef cheek, it was completely lacking in flavour and rather watery. the cocktails were amazing definitely recommend the spiced kiwi!!

i have been several times for dinner and drinks and will be coming back again. at first, i must say that atmosphere and interior design is amazing and would compete with european bars. this is not a fine dining restaurant, so you must consider it, and if you coming just for food when you hungry, you may need to go somewhere else. the food is japanese style kebabs, with meat, vegetables and seafood. they are very nice and you will not find anything like that in town. i would recommend to try it. good varieties of beers and wines and cocktails. good for couples and bunch of friends. i also must say about staff. service was outstanding, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. try it!

a lovely lounge setting - probably better on a quite night rather than a busy one, especially in front of the fire. 2 for 1 specials on the cocktails are a good deal but definitely on the weak side. platters are nice but more appropriate as nibbles rather than a full meal. the green tea icecream fried banana dessert is deelish! good setting for a few drinks with friends.

i especially love the ambience, i think it’s a nice place to chill with mates, family or even love ones. food was delicious, i had the beef sashimi and yakitori. a little bit on the pricey side but definitely worth a try.

we came to the restaurant and told our waitress we were waiting for 4 people and she said it’s okay the table wasn’t reserved and we were welcome to stay until they arrived. we ordered and after about 30 minutes the waitress told us we needed to leave and gave the table to some other people (they were 4 and we were 2).
we had to look for a place at ms. white and luckily for us some people were leaving, then they brought the food and didn’t bring any chops sticks or soy sauce to eat with, even when i asked nicely.
then she was kinda rushing us into paying the bill when we haven’t even received the whole order of our food.
felt terrible eating there trying to rush our food and get out as soon as possible.

came here for cocktails and nibbles on easter sunday, and i must say the cocktails were amazing! unfortunately had an unpleasant experience with the waitress when we had ordered our food and we asked her for some recommendations. she asked if we like chilli to which we responded, “maybe the on the side”. as she had not provided any recommendations, we asked again for some recommendations which she did then provide. the first dish which was served on our table by a different staff member were chilli fries which we did not order and we sent back to the kitchen. however the waitress who took our order brought them back out to us and insisted we had ordered them, forcing them on our table. obviously there must’ve been some misunderstanding in between however she forced us to take the chilli fries and then billed us for them. the way she went about this was not acceptable behaviour.

snug is a very cool restaurant. the atmosphere is amazing, and the cocktails are super yummy. i would say the food is underwhelming. nothing special.
the service,drinks and vibes are 5/5 though.

this place has tasty food, creative cocktails and beverages, smiling staff, an excellent atmosphere, elegant decor and a warm friendly feeling. we were happy with the prices for our experience and we enjoyed our visit. a quiet setting for conversation.

service was amazing i love the cocktail and the ambiance. soft shell crab was a bit small portion but the dressing is nice the pork bun is a bit salty for my taste buds but over all its all good. i will definitely come back.

thanks snug lounge i had my birthday there last night with thanks to my handsome man wiki , my mum her partner , and my bestie and her partner had a lovely time food platters for 6 were great cocktails amazing wakaba fizz rocks staff were great considering it was quiet a busy nite. thanks again we will be back.😆🎉

great service and good food.  family friendly atmosphere.  but a very confusing experience if you're a first timer to the venue and you order a pizza.  the pub staff tell you go pay for your pizza with the staff at the back who prepare the pizza by the pizza oven.  but you have to order your pizza with them ... the initial staff member didn't take the order for it.  then the pizza will be delivered to your table by the pizza staff, if, and only if, they are not too busy, so you must keep looking for your order number appearing on the screen above the pizza oven.  too much to think about when you just want to relax and enjoy dinner.  the staff weren't very good at keeping the open fire alight also ... quite sinful considering it was the middle of winter and only 6 tables occupied.
