orderes a slab diner and a 1/2 slab diner. was to dry to eat and the fries were terrible. i will never ever never never never go back there. who puts rosemary on fresh cut fries??? thanks for a horribke meal wish i would have eaten there so i could have gotten my money back. wasover $30 we threw in the garbage. do you know how bad a frie has to be cor kids not to eat them. thats how bad they were. sorry guys have no idea how your still in buisness.

exceptional bbq. my wife and i have eaten here 8-10 times since opening. we have been thoroughly pleased each time with each of the dishes. pulled pork sandwich, ribs, bbq chicken, brisket, all solid choices. surprisingly, the pizzas are creative and delicious. the ribs have to be my favorite. the smoky flavor is nicely complimented by the sweet bbq sauce. they are firm and pull away nicely. that is how smoked ribs should be! get outta here with the "fall off the bone" business, that is for rookies. i would recommend smoke bbq to any of my friends or family.

inconsistent. we relentlessly search for good bbq so were thrilled first time we tried this. brisket (my fav due to childhood in texas ) was very good, pork close to n.carolina caliber. then we went another time and it tasted like warmed over meat. i think they added broth ir something and totally ruined the texture. to bad, probably won't go back

food was delicious. service was great!
the outside looks a little sketchy but the inside is clean and nice.
worth the drive from anywhere in lake county for bbq.

stopped in when they first opened and was pleasantly surprised to find such a good barbecue in our area! the food was wonderful and the service was fantastic! we did not get back to eat there for sometime. when we ran across them at the "taste of painesville" where the ribs were out of this world and their sauce was to die for!! just a couple of weeks later we decided to have dinner at their restaurant again and was looking forward to their awesome ribs and sauce. boy were we "disappointed"! the server did not know if she was serving breakfast or dinner, literally . when she asked us if we wanted "coffee or oj"? the rest of the dinner service was a disaster. the mac and cheese was dry and tasted sour, my ribs were warm, tough and not cooked all the way through, barely cut them with a knife. the baked beans were warm and the coleslaw was old tasting, and last but not least the roll and butter tasted like they had been in the refrigerator for a few days!!!! so so disappointed!!! as we were walking out, we noticed that several people had pizza's on there table???? maybe that's a sign that their pizza is better than their bbq, not sure, but we will not be back.....very disappointed customer........

awesome bbq. that is if the owner is on duty. i have eaten here many times and when the owner is on site the food is better then any place in texas. when he is not in the building the food is horrible. service is ok. it could really be a a 5 star if the quality was consistent.

i ordered the brisket dinner, with mac & cheese, and pulled pork eggrolls. the brisket was tasty and moist, although the sauce was a little one-note, the eggrolls were delicious, but: the mac n cheese was spoiled. i thought there was a strange smell, but before i could grab it, my niece dug in. she immediately spit it back out and said it tasted funny. i took a forkful and as soon as i put it in my mouth, i tasted the sourness. i then sniffed the container of it, and it smelled of pure spolied milk. i plucked a bit of bacon out and tasted it- even that tasted sour. how did they not catch that???
this is my third or fourth time eating smokes, and just like other reviewers said, smokes is very inconsistent with quality. i don't know if i'll try them again- that mac n cheese could have made my niece sick.

food awesome about 50 for dinner for 2 people. service is spotty drinks run dry all time. food is the only thing keeping us from never coming back.

won't be back.. one word describes smoke, bland. only one sauce to pick from, definitely not " fall off the bone ribs ". green were horrible. baked potato was limp.
pluses for me was the good service and beer, food needs some work. smokey bones blows them out of the water.

smoke bbq is amazing! ribs n brisket are better then competition bbq. everything like apps n diners r creative n homemade. pizzas r unbelievable. whoever thought of a mash potato pizza is genius! service was excellent. the tall blonde waitress is the most beautiful girl in the world! they recently just got a full liquor license and have a great selection of brews wine n drinks! i def suggests going here, i make it at least once a week! whatever they r doin they r doin it good!

best bbq in northeast ohio. went back for the second time and the food was just as amazing as the first. the fresh homemade chips were killer (and so was the bbq ranch sauce). the ribs, brisket, and bbq chicken were all spectacular, and the mac & cheese was some of the best that i've ever had (how can you not love homemade mac & cheese with bacon in it?!?!?!?!?).

hands down smoke bbq has some of the best bbq i've had since i was in texas, it beats out smokey bones and hoggys by a longshot.

we just had take out last night and the smokey flavor in the ribs was outstanding. the brisket was very tender and delicious. highly recommend! portions are also large and the chocolate cake is one of the best

great food, great people and byob. if you want great bbq, nice people, great service, a place to watch a ball game and a place you can bring in your own beer. smoke bbq and grill is it. i have been there at least 9 times, service has been excellent each time, the place is clean and has a nice look to it. but most importantly the food is outstanding and the menu has a good variety of choices at a great price.

my favorite is the mash potato pizza as an app. the pulled pork burrito and a side of the best mac n cheese you can find. smoke is one of my favorite places in cleveland to eat and bring my family. go check it out you will not be disappointed.

awesome!. smoke bbq grill is out of this world! service was great! food amazing! and the prices are verry reasonable! i have been there many times and think it was great! i have sent many friends there and they as well loved it! we go weekly! hope they are a success it appears as though they will be. other reviews,, dont seem to fit this restaurant. must give it a try!!:) ohh and to top it off, nearly everything is homemade and cooked from scratch! hard to find a place like that. love it!
