very good food but don't be in a rush. all three of our breakfasts were great and the coffee is very good. folks there are friendly but it will take forever to get your food, so don't plan to sit for less than an hour.

sky blue hides itself away on a little corner in east nashville. once you've been, you feel like you did when you first discovered a new artist in college that only you have heard. your tempted to keep it all to yourself but you can't help but tell people about it. the food, atmosphere & coffees are wonderful. try whatever you want. based on my experience, i'm sure you'll like it.

great good. decent price. the wait time after ordering was inordinately long. pleasant waitress.

depends on when you go. my partner and i have been frequent sky blue goers for quite a while now. we have seen a few different owners, husbnad and wife, just the wife, and now a nice young man named chad. the food has always been awesome and consistent even though they took our favorite off the menu "for the love of toast" but they can still make it by special order. depending on what time you go will really decide what kind of visit you have. if its crazy busy it can get a little hairy and difficult to get service. if there is a blonde waitress in there (not too tall) she is awesome and i would wait to sit in her section. trust me it's worth it because she will get you in and out if you are in a hurry. if you're a hot chocolate drinker you have to order one - it's pretty amazing. there is not clear pricing on the kids menu and what it includes or not but everthing else is pretty good. i usually get the egg sandwhich and cheese grits... yum!!!

not vegan friendly!. about three items for vegans, and the waitress was sooo put out by our interrupting her sunday late morning! under-cooked or over-cooked, these are the options for omnivores. all orders came out wrong. not like we ordered it. bottom line...seek nourishment elsewhere!

great food in a great neighborhood. this small neighborhood cafe has tasty food and great ambiance. their breakfast options are all wonderful. i particularly like the buckwheat pancakes and the omelettes, and the home fries that accompany almost every breakfast item on the menu are delicious. if you should happen to be there for lunch, the portobello mushroom sandwich is also terrific. the prices are fair, and the staff is quirky, friendly and fun.

my only complaint is that my coworkers and i will sometimes catch what we hope to be a quick lunch, but the service seems to get slower when less people are in the restaurant. we've been there when we were one of only two tables in the restaurant, and still waited 20 minutes for our check, or even a refill, which sometimes never came. that being said, if your company is not very strict with the standard lunch "hour," the food is definitely worth the trip.

they said 1 hour wait which ended up being 1 hour 20 minutes. then over an hour for food to come and we ordered immediately after sitting. not worth taking the time. you need to expand

overall one of my favorite restaurants! the food is outstanding and i am addicted to it. the menu selection is outstanding and the food comes out hot!

service was friendly and helpful. the food was great and a little different that traditional southern... we also loved the atmosphere & how cozy it felt. we only waited 5-10 min on a weekday morning. it was well worth it. we will definitely return next time we are in nashville!

great food, four of us got different items and each had a great meal. very filling. reasonably priced. not too many seats so go early or expect a little bit of a wait.

super cute spot. lots of options for every dietary need! affordable, delicious, and excellent service! their coffee is sooooo good! we ordered the pancakes and breakfast burrito, both were delicious!

food was excellent! we had the abt omelette and the breakfast burrito. coffee was good and the refills kept coming. this is a very relaxed/friendly atmosphere. we had fun playing the trivial pursuit cards on the table. it was a nice touch. great service!

this cafe was fantastic. it is very small and in a neighborhood, which contributes to the small business/local feel. we waited about an hour to be seated, but it was well worth the wait. i ordered nutella and banana french toast pancakes and they were incredible.

this place is cool. small and chill. i ordered the armadilla-o veggie grilled cheese. it was bomb. my friend ordered a breakfast item that she said was good. but then ordered grits. and they said 45 mins for them to cook........ and when we got them they were so watery. so i wouldn't recommend the grits but everything for us was great. and the store next door is super cute.
