you just have to try the kumda kahve at this streetside cafe in şirince!
kumda kahve is unique due to the fact that the coarsely ground coffee is actually brewed in hot sand right in front of you!
the sand is heated by an earthen oven below.
your server will continuously move the coffee pot around to avoid it boiling over. you could even try brewing the coffee yourself...definitely a unique coffee experience!!!
they kind owners even gave us a few complimentary cubes of turkish delight! ?
also try the ayran which is a traditional turkish butter milk...here you will be served a more frothier version than you will find anywhere else!
