this is a fantastic little venue. the food is authentic and awesome. it's reasonably priced and has a peach of an owner named nancy. i will return over and over. what a find! thanks urban spoon!

best thai in jax!!. wish this place was around when i lived here, but glad to have had opportunity to try this truly tasty thai cuisine...two visits in three days. nancy, the owner, was truly enthusiastic to offer an authentic thai experience. had the pad thai both visits, which is some of the best i have had anywhere! try it thai hot if you dare. two thumbs up!

excellent service and food. great place to eat and relax either for lunch or dinner. i had the opportunity to be the first customer, and up to these days nancy always remembers me, she is very passionate about her customers and providing a friendly environment, she is always smiling....great job!!! don't hesitate to stop by, if you are a thai lover you won't be disappointed, and even if you are not familiar with thai, this is a good place to start. my best wishes to your very successful business. marco

this place is an awesome authentic thai lunch spot! a great place for a quick and cheap meal. very convenient for those working at mayport.

great food, great price. if you like thai food, this is a place you should try. i've been loving thai food since my college years and as far as thai restaurants go, its one of the better in jacksonville. with the opening of their new dining room and a major redecorating, this places provides for a wonderful dining experience. best of all, the prices are reasonable and the portion substantial. definitely a place i'd recommend to anyone who love thai food or is curious to try it. my favorites are their yellow and red curry dishes and their pad thai...very good. as with any thai restaurant, if you're sensitive to hot food you'd better order it mild. if you order it hot it will be hot!

mayport road thai. been there three times. twice for lunch, once for dinner. the food had been poor each time. i cannot go back. i went based upon ratings. well, the owners much be doing the ratings. it is probably the worst excuse for thai i have ever had.

worth the rating.. tiny place. but changed my mind about thai food.
i the past i could take it or leave it.
now i know what great thai food taste like. i'm hooked.

actively vegan friendly

tofu proudly listed as an ingredient in several dishes, no need to ask for it as a meat substitute.ordered the spicy garlic tofu. the food quality is good-the vegetables cooked to perfection and fresh. i ordered spicy 3 of 5 and it actually was spicy because usually restaurants do not make spicy food spicy. but while finally spicy, the sauce itself was a bit bland. but the tofu was cooked well with a nice, crispy outside.i ordered the side salad with peanut dressing on the side. it was a nice size and great dressing!!!
my co-worker ordered the peanut sauce veggies and tofu but she is a really picky eater and felt the sauce was too thick.she loved her spring rolls she also ordered. the noodles she had were cold and congealed in a lump and when she complained the waitress acted as if she expected the customer to just suck it up. i would have been surprised but for a man who was outraged when he found he had been waiting for his to go order for 20 minutes and was informed ‘oops’ it has been here getting cold all along. they offered him no price reduction or extra food even though he said he was a regular and was clearly upset. so i guess customer satisfaction is not a big priority. my co-worker disliked it so much she did not eat her meal but i tried a bite and while the sauce was really thick it actually had some flavor so i think it was fine. $12 for a meal and like $5 for the salad.

i have never had a sit down meal at simply tasty thai, but often drive down and get food to go, so when i was invited to dinner it was a go.   once inside and sitting down, it became evident how much i had  missed.  the interior is just this side of opulent, the very zen like atmosphere, is created by lighting, and art work that adorn the walls.

a pleasant restaurant and wait staff (thus a 3.0), but all-in-all a disappointing evening. one of (3) meals was brought to the table at least 10 minutes before the other (2). when we told the manager who was inquiring about our meal his response was an inappropriate...."well, it takes time to coordinate" as if we were nuts for complaining. to boot, the marinated ribs from the "house speciality" portion of the menu were mostly bone and grizzle. lastly, although it may be a matter of personal preference the tom kha soup was uninspired.
we had visited once before and enjoyed the crispy duck, but next time we're going back to "thai buddha" on 3rd street.

it was amazing! very aunt benthic! highly recommend the chicken satay with peanut sauce, the choo curry with chicken and the #31 kho crunch noodles in curry! the mango rice with milk is amazing as well as the thai tea!

this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. .....but it is getting too expensive, especially in the neighborhood that it is located, thai food should be reasonable because the ingredients are not that expensive.
