catering order - amazing!!!!. highly recommend!!!!! perfection achieved!!!!
i ordered a catering order last week for this evening. it was my first team dinner with my staff and i had no idea if i had ordered enough food or the right food for everyone's liking. steve helped me pick out an amazing menu and there was so much left over. the catering order was perfect, on time and blew my staff away.

i would recommend silver lake cafe & grill to anyone!!!!! they have everything you can imagine!!! i will be a repeat customer!!!!!!!!

delicious!. i have eaten at silver lake cafe for breakfast/lunch/dinner and dessert.
breakfast-amazing omelets, my personal fave spinach, grilled onions and feta. i have also had egg sandwiches with sausage and cheese on a roll. the rolls are not your ordinary kaiser roll, fresh portugese rolls, very tasty. steven (owner) made me stuffed french toast for my birthday one year, spectacular!! i'm not sure if that is on the menu but if it is try it!!

lunch/dinner-my usual is the salad with grilled chicken, onions, goat cheese and apples. i add a some cranberries to it and when available i switch the apples and get grilled pears. they are very accomodating if you want to change an item in the menu. today i switched it up and had a cajun salad with grilled onions, corn, avocado, very tasty. the chicken had a nice kick to it. my other fave is the bagel stick sandwiches. they have several types, ham, turkey etc, i have eaten them all and don't have a favorite, well maybe the ham and arugula. they put these gems in the panini press machine and they are amazing, a must try.

for dessert there is a variety of ice cream and home baked goods. now that i am writing this i think i will buy a homemade muffin and make a sundae next time.

i love this place. the food, portions and service are excellent. the owner runs an excellent lunch service for camp and has saved me more than once this summer. when it's nice we also love going down in the morning for breakfast so we can sit outside.

good food. based on internet reviews we came here for my daughter's birthday for breakfast, and it is certainly not fancy inside. that said the food was super good, my egg was cooked perfectly, as was my bacon, and the pancakes were delectable. i was also intrigued by the reviews promising super friendly service-which is hard to come by and i appreciate/ will go out of my way to experience.

the girl at the counter was the typical surly coffee shop girl but the guy was really friendly and nice. the casualness and the surly girl initially made me wish we had not come but since the food and other guy were nice it was fine. i would not come for a special occasion, but for a quick bite when in the area.

worst bacon and egg on whole wheat i have ever tasted. 1 piece of bacon for the whole sandwich which by the way tasted like plastic. it was so bad i had to throw it away and not have breakfast. so breakfast is a no go at this place!

i will say they make a ridiculously delicious cuban sandwich, and really good chicken cutlets. so my advice go for lunch and not breakfast.

gourmet deli. how many deli sandwich's have you had with lettuce, tomato & mayo? how about something totally different, yet the same? how about a roast beast sandwich with grilled onions & crumbled blue cheese, and arugula instead of lettuce? it's gotta be pricey right? no. it's still the price of a sandwich, just 10 times the quality.
then once you get there, you start to look around at all the other delicious plates. i had a couple of months were all i wanted was the thai noodle salad. they even made it a bit more spicy for me. you could get chicken or grilled vegetables (which could include things from portabella mushrooms to boch choy) on it. once they had some grilled shrimp as a special & threw that on it. heaven!
everything is super fresh! when i order the hummus platter, every time i've picked it up, it was still warm. and again, specify how smooth you like it or if there's anything you want to throw in there, because it so boring to eat the same things day after day!

great food and friendly service. i've been coming for over a year. love the soups, everything stick panini, grilled cheese, falafel...u name it, it's good!

shockingly good food!. i am a regular customer here an can testify why this place rocks on several levels:
first, all the food is fresh and, for the modest cafe/deli environment, it is shockingly good - with high quality meats and prepared foods that are trully at a highest quality in catering. the restaurant experience of stephen, the owner, really shows in every delicious bight.
second, all of the staff are charming and super friendly - i highly recommend this spot, which is located right in the silver lake town center in west harrison.

silver lake cafe is amazing in both service and food! the owner, steve is probably one of the nicest people i've ever met. he is creative in the food and menu! this place is a must for breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice cream/fro-yo. it will be added to your "go to" places immediately! :) a thousand thumbs up!

best customer service in town!. i am in love with the silver lake cafe grill! the girls who work the register are super nice and give great suggestions (like sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo-- trust me, it's to die for!) . the owner steve is such a friendly guy, always smiling and creating new foods for us to try. word is spreading fast about this gem of a deli! this cafe is really going places!! love them

what r u craving?. i have just finished an amazing sandwich which i had a craving for, it's not on the extensive menu but you can ask for whatever tickles your fancy ..... ask steve about the royal ham egg and cheese!

great place, food and people. it's rare to find a place that has that small town feel, great food, and owner that truly cares about his ingredients and making customers happy. maybe it's too much to ask but silver lake has it. from their daily menu or specials there is a lot to chose from - but the best is if you want something off menu they go out of their way to deliver! thanks for being so great and creating so many great "non-dairy" meals for us!!!!!

fantastic food and host. don't go through silver lake without making a stop at the silver lake cafe grill. and when you stop in, you will later regret it if you do not have a bowl of sirloin chile.

deliciously impossible choices!. my only complaint? there are so many delicious menu items it takes forever to make a decision. i highly recommend bringing your friends/family, getting one of each and sharing!

amazing cafe. it is a must to have stephen's texas sirlion black bean chili - it is unforgettable. the sandwiches are huge and delicious and stephen is the perfect host. it is the first stop we make when visiting westchester.
