we love it. the restaurant is nicely decorated, with an automated slide show that displays the beautiful architecture and natural scenery of afghanistan. the service is quite friendly and the food is very good. most meals come with naan bread, for which three sauces are provided: a yogurt sauce, a cilantro sauce, and a hot red pepper sauce. the butternut squash triangles (cadu) make a great appetizer. i like the ghusfan korma (lamb chunks with lentil sauce), the murgh korma (chicken on the bone with tomato sauce) or the vegetarian ashak (dumplings). the naringe palaw (orange flavored rice) is excellent. i also like to get the dogh, a slightly salty mint yogurt drink. the elephant ears ( a thin pastry with powdered sugar) is a nice, light dessert. there is also a custard with cardamom that is quite good.
