the best bbq ribs. i drive 172 miles to visit my in-laws because i know i'll get to eat at shulers. love the ribs.

hands down, this is the best barbecue in ne south carolina. i am not a fan of buffet lines, but for food this tasty there has to be an exception. the smoked chicken is perfection. bring cash, they don't take checks or cards.

hubby wanted carolina bbq. i found shulers. buffett was yummy. loved everything i had- pulled pork, ribs, fried chicken. the sides were great too- mac and cheese, greens, coleslaw and baked beans. carolina bbq = vinegar!! nice change from fl!

fried chicken was great! biscuits were pretty good. everything else was pretty bland (fried okra, mac'n'cheese) or obviously from a box/can (mashed potatoes, green beans). desserts weren't bad but again i think they used ingredients from can/box so it was nothing special. good service. lunch buffet price is about $9 and they do take credit now.

the only reason i can't give this a 5 is because the food was so good they kept running out on the buffet! the bbq pulled pork was delicious but the bbq ribs and chicken were outstanding!! loved all the sides but the fried corn in the cob; a bit greasy. our company enjoyed it though. we have tried about every bbq place east of columbia, sc and this is hands-down the very best. it stills ages to keep its country charm. lovely setting too since they added the back porch and decks!

unbelievable ribs. great atmosphere friendly staff and outstanding food have been there 5 times and never disappointed once best ribs i've ever had i can't wait to go back

amazing food! not only is the bbq, fried chicken and ribs to die for, all the sides are for sure homemade and delicious. bbq isn't my absolute favorite, but theirs is amazing. i don't like greens at all but theirs was so good. downsides: can be super crowded and they don't take a debit or credit card.

shulars is like going to your family reunion with all your favorite dishes. southern country cooking at its best. we had dinner at some of the finest restaurants in myrtle beach but the food was better here at shulars.

such a great place. awesome staff, very very nice owner. every customer in there was friendly. we were short a couple bucks and made friends in line (yes there is a line, the bbq is just that good), who were nice enough to pay what we were missing. perfect example of southern hospitality and that famous southern bbq! next time i'm in sc, i will be visiting.

returning from florida we spent the night in s.c. and asked the hotel desk clerk where to find a local non-chain restaurant. were we in for a treat. we walked in the door and found ourselves in a line to pay (cash only) before partaking in their buffet filled with southern goodies. the price was reasonable, $10.95 ea for a sr. meal, all you can eat. their ribs were outstanding! we had never had fried corn on the cob before and it was sweet and tasty. i loved the green beans, limas and baked beans which i had along with some pulled pork bbq and their super ribs! yum. drinks were sweet tea, soda and water with desserts serve your own ice cream, 4 flavors and a myriad of home baked goodies. there was hardly room for a bite of dessert. it was a friendly place, obviously frequented by local families. they are open only thurs. fri. and sat. what a find!

delicious! fried chicken and corn was out of this world. i like tangy barbecue, husband likes smokey, this was def. on the tangy side. happy to have found this hole in the wall on our trip from boston-florida!!

bbq indoctrination. my wife and i moved to myrtle beach a year ago and moved into our new house. we met our neighbor who was raised in dillon area. he took us to shulers the other night and i can't say enough about the quality of food. the whole experience was awesome. we met the owner and had a nice chat and after two servings, i couldn't manage to get to the dessert buffet. i know i ate too much but it was the best barbecue i have ever tasted. we will certainly make this a regular stop every time we pass by the area.

fantastic!. traveling from california, i wanted to get some decent southern bbq. i stopped here off the sc bbq trail map...and boy, was i not disappointed! all they have here is the buffet....if you want anything non-buffet (like a burger) go elsewhere. the buffet is very well stocked with fantastic food....pulled pork, ribs, smoked chicken, fried chicken, meatloaf, sweet potatoes, beans...the list goes on. they also have a dessert buffet...but honestly, i was so full after two trips through the buffet 'o goodness, that i had no room for dessert! they look awesome though...ice cream, cupcakes, cobbler...the list goes on. the folks working here are all very attentive and seem to be pretty enthusiastic. the food itself was great...the ribs fell off the bone, the flavor of the chicken and pork was perfect...i didn't have a single complaint! and the price is very reasonable, especially considering you can eat as much as you want. if i lived here, this is where i would bring guests to sample the local bbq. it is that good. i cannot recommend it highly enough! try it!!!!

uh-may-zing. i was passing through this area for work, read some of these reviews and stopped in for early dinner. i only had a debit card and they only took cash/check. the woman that rang me up told me to not worry, the owner does not let anyone leave with an empty stomach and that the owner, norton would be in soon and would call in my card (it is also a catering business). so i started at the buffet from my dreams... collards, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, bbq, and fried chicken. i die! no i didn't, but i did inhale it. i went back up to the front and norton and i had a great talk and he ran my card. if i am ever back in the area, i will be back to visit these great people and stuff my face with the delicious food. go getchya some bbq from shuler's bbq, but remember your cash!

best bbq i have ever had in my life.. and the corn on the cob was delicious.. and the best of it all was the peach cobbler! i want to go back very soon!
