say it with me "mmmmm". while out for a walk in the village i came across shema sushi. to be honest, i wasn't expecting a sushi restaurant in the village of webster. i was curious (and love sushi) so i decided to run in and check it out. the women working were really great - friendly, helpful, and overall just fantastic service. i tried the edamame, gyoza, and miso soup first. they were good, but nothing close to the quality that i had from the fish in the rolls i ordered. i wasn't hoping for miraculous sushi from the village, but the fish that they have at shema is fantastic. tasted just like my favorite sushi haunts on the west coast. super fresh and delicious...i don't know where they get their fish, but this is the most impressive fish (taste/grade-wise) i've had anywhere near this region. top it all off everything came out perfectly timed (rather than some restaurants that are dump your appetizer, soup, and main all off within 3 minutes of each other). this is the place i'm taking any visiting friends or co-workers to for sushi.
