the eastcoast would be proud.... massive sammies, well made and very fresh. comfortable little joint having cold beer on tap, with sports and news on two big screens. the owner is a bfg (big friendly guy), and obviously loves what he is doing. their shamus' famous pastrami monster was delicious, and a bite of my son's deadliest catch tuna sammie was great, too--from the small bite he allowed me (and i paid!). this is a perfect place for folks in the valley to grab lunch. your sandwich basket is in front of you in less than five minutes. the only trouble you will have is trying to finish the 'whole' sandwich, should you order one. but if you can't, you have a real nice snack awaiting your future hunger...
