had a cafe con leche, con tostada to go. could have used less butter on the toast and more sugar with the coffee.
years ago, when i worked in hallandale i went here every now and then, and the food for lunch was good.

used to be good, now just mediocre and rude. this place used to be good and have decent cuban food. within the last year or so, service has become slow and rude. at times 5 or 6 waitresses may be seen behind the counter and all of them doing the same thing, but nobody being productive. when asked for service, they respond negatively and rudely. the food has also lost its touch but it's still eatable if one can get serviced right.

used to be a great place to go but recently on more than one occasion my orders arrive late, cold, salty and the waitress was rude when i pointed that out.

we were new to cuban food and señor cafe was an outstanding intro. the ox tails were mouthwatering and fell off the bone. the fried plantines topped with fried pork and fried onions sounded strange to us but we tried the app anyways and it was fantastic. sweet fried plantines and yellow rice were also delicious. very reasonably priced. service was warm and friendly. nice people. we will be going back on this vacation.

my experience tells me that the best ethnic restaurants are in ethnic neighborhoods, and not on las olas or at the beach. if you want good cuban food, you'll have to go into neighborhoods where you might not normally go.

i go there mostly for cuban coffee and its very good. prices are cheap as well.

tried and true!. with obviously so many cuban restaurants in south florida, it would be ludicrous to be able to single one out as the best... but this one comes close, not only because of their down-home, traditional and flavorful and assorted dishes, but because of their consistency in all those areas! when we visit the area, we know to go there for really good, consistent food. oh, did i mention it's family friendly and the service is well above average to the well-known cuban-style poor service mo! bon appétit!

authentic cuban. the bullet: food-a,service-b,price-b,vibe-b. great place on a1a for authentic cuban. excellent rice and beans, empanadas and the service was very attentative. i would go back.

senor cafe -great food and service. we visit the senor cafe daily for coffee and empanadas and we also eat there at least once a week. the service is great and the food is excellent. i would recommend it for anyone local.
