a gem of bar in dublin with live jazz performance. they have a great variety of options in good and drinks. not a set menu which is good. the food is amazing in taste and presentation. had ordered pan smeared salmon which was superb in taste and quality. had visited the place with friends and had loads of fun.

amazing real sports pub experience. definitely a recommended stop after a watching a rugby game at aviva stadium.

the pints are fairly priced and the music/atmosphere is lively. do expect to have some oldies played, that type that gets the whole crowd sing along.

only ever been here for breakfast. basic menu but would be nice with a fruit yogurt granola option. food was great that we got - steven had the healthy breakfast minus the beans and i had the omelette (cooked the way i wanted it regarding egg white to yolk ratio). bread basket presented with brown and white bread. extra butter was given to us as requested. excellent service from staff despite the early time of day. will be back again for more

i went to searsons for a casual dinner tonight with a friend. i got the chicken tenders and chips. the chips had too much salt on them. we also got a brownie to share which tasted sour. slightly disappointed by the meal 😔

really nice spot for a good roast dinner! a bit on the expensive side at €13 a plate but everything is dealt delicious! i was here during christmas and it was so well decorated and had a lovely atmosphere.

while the buzz is brilliant and the staff are on it, this gastro boozer is let down by the slapped up pints of porter and hit n miss lager. the food above average pub grub. would recommend the lamb shank. surprisingly good for breakie

had a quick bite to eat in searson's with my father a few weeks back. searson's is a lovely bar with a beautiful garden area out the back. the food here is second to none and quite reasonably priced. on this occasion i opted for the chicken wings win a side of chips and dad went for the steak sandwich. the chicken wings were a huge portion and tasted delicious. i thought that the steak sandwich seemed to be pretty small but dad reckoned he was definitely full and couldn't clear his plate! the menu has a lovely variety and i hope to return again to sample more of it and enjoy their live jazz music.

really like this place for a good weekend pub dinner. went saturday the 26th for some grub after attending the baby fair in the rds. so as you can imagine we were starving. we both went for lamb. brian got the roast lamb dinner and i went for the lamb shank. both were amazing and really hit the spot. the meat on  the shank was cooked perfectly. this place also seems to have the awful tasting tap water that existing around the d4/d6 area so i recommend bottled or loads of lemon and lime. brian got a baileys cheesecake and ice-cream for dessert and had a pint of guinness. bill came to 48.60.

yummy pub grub! we enjoyed wings and scampi to nibble on with drinks on the day. popular place. fast efficient service and we were very content with both the atmosphere and our food. marked down as expect the money to fall through your fingers here

i have to say i am a big fan of the cocktails in searsons. i would highly recomment the passion mojitos, they are just unreal. the food is nice, simple enough menu but everything is cooked really well. there is also always a really good atmosphere in searsons. i will definitely be back again.

this is by far one of the nicest places to spend a sunday. it's a nice place to have a chilled pub day. i particularly love the really cool cocktail list! coconut daiquiri's are not easy to find. the staff are friendly. it's good value for money. they do a good sunday roast. what more could you ask for?!

great pub in this area, serves decent solid meals and a great pint of guinness's! had a roast lamb lunch which was cooked perfectly along with all the trimmings, really decent standard and good service!

so we had a team lunch at searsons.  i ordered the roast rib of beef with all the fixings.  the beef was nice and tender, buttery mash and the veg was fresh.  if i was to say anything needed improvement it would be the gravy.  a bit too watery for me and had the hint of a stock cube to it.  the roast chicken looked like a game changer here and i'll definitely going to make a trip back especially for that.

searson's on baggot street near the canal is one of those pubs that'll forever be on your 'safe bet' list - if all other options fizzle out, or if no particular place can be decided/agreed upon, searson's it shall be! a pub that serves some amazing food all day long in a lovely environment, this most definitely isn't a place you'd be going to for just a tipple.

they've got live music on the weekends, and during the night on weekdays, there's always quite a buzz around the bar, while the dining section generates its own buzz. the roast chicken here is quite popular, and i can understand why. roasted to perfection, with the meat still tender and juicy (and not stringy), the chicken and the beef ribs are excellent examples of how to grill meat on the bone (and off it). i've also had the roast leg of lamb, and it was absolutely divine. the burgers here are quite decent, although i wouldn't rave about them. the fish & chips as well as the papilloté were both wonderfully done - beautifully cooked and presented.

the service is quite attentive and proactive, and there wasn't anything really to complain about. if you're anywhere near the baggot street area, searson's will always be a safe bet for you.
