found this hidden gem place which served yummy food. one of must try kind of street food if you go to wellington. price is good and food taste yummmsss - @denny setiawan

the beef satay stick was so tough to eat, didn’t even finish it. would not bother getting it again. you would think that would be their best dish since the name of the shop is called satay me.... the steam dumplings were delicious.

had a late lunch today, everything is on special - 30% off, ordered a beef casserole, 2 fried pork dumplings and 1 chicken spring roll. cost only $7.80 in total, very good deal! beef casserole is a bit sweet and chewy, with carrot, potato, chickenpea and onions as veges. spring roll has a lot filling. like the dumpling most!

love this place! it’s one of my 2 favourite go-to lunch places. tasty, healthy and cheap! satay sauce with prawn & squid puffs are soooo good and everything is fresh👌🏾

not sure why this isn’t rated 5 stars yet... satayme is amazing takeaway, 10/10 would recommend. this always satisfies regardless of lunch cravings and, always feels pretty healthy.

the food here is fantastic, i buy my lunch here at least once a week. the satay skewers are always tender. there are a few different flavours to choose from, as well as rolls with chicken/ beef and salad. their roti is good too. they also do a fanastic wonton soup. the wontons are flavoursome and the broth has fresh herbs, and it is ony $3 for a small one. everything i have tried from satay me has been deliciously flavoured and the staff are very friendly. would reccomend.

was really disappointed. we had a voucher from a daily deal site and the pictures of the food looked amazing.. sadly the pictures were the most appetizing thing there. the roti was small and dry, the chicken curry was more carrot than anything else. the rice was stodgy and glumpy. and the satay sticks were chewy and dry.
would not go back.

this little place is a hidden jewel. it should have a queue all day long. their satay is the best in nz, their rice is delicious, not plain, flavourless rice, but made with pandang leaves. their noodles are so good as well. i don;t eat meat, so i must say this is the cheapest and more delicious meat-free food around. their prices are very low, huge portions and the staff is super friendly. always with a smile and always doing everything so one leave one happy customer.

love this place :). delicious food, their satay is the best i've had in wellington! healthy and very well priced, for $4.80 i can get a satay roti wrap, sticky rice and a satay stick, more than enough for lunch. the $10 combos are also great value and the staff are really friendly and accommodating (can basically customise your combos by swapping things in and out). plus their after 3 specials are awesome (stuff thrown in for free!)

i have been meaning to try satay me for a few weeks now and i can honestly say i don’t know why i waited so long. the staff were friendly and the food tasted great. i have a pretty big appetite but my duo combo was surprisingly filling. i can’t wait to go back again!

i have to say very tasty and lean yet generous satay skewers and the nicest satay sauce i've had! i like to have them with roti and the interesting coconut rice things. the roti sandwich is also very good.

friendly staff, and a good selection of delicious satay sticks and extras. the $10 combos are great - i swapped out the salad for a vegetable skewer.

would certainly get lunch from there again.
