i've never had a bad meal here. the staff are absolutely wonderful. food is fantastic. on top of all that, they will adjust the meal to suit a vegan diet which is awesome! (within reason)

not really a japanese restaurant as much as it is an japanese themed australian restaurant. the menu features suspiciously few japanese dishes but it's the food that really lets it down. the takoyaki was okay but the chicken karaage was mostly just regular fried chicken, the sashima was barely a cut above coles and by that point it was time to head out.

all that being said, i'm not sure a restaurant that serves japanese food would do too well in narellan so i understand why sasuki is the way that it is but at the end of the day, you're better off finding a sushi hub and getting a few boxes for far less money.

love this venue, it was certainly needed in this area.

we had the edamame, salt n pepper squid, tofu, large sashimi platter and the sasuki teppanyaki.

the wagyu and lobster tail was amazing.

the kids love this place we have done the teppanyaki numerous times food is really good dinner and show hard is to beat
some of the chefs are more entertaining than others but all of them are friendly and accommodating.
decent serving sizes which some restaurants that do teppanyaki get a fail on.
have also done a breakfast there which was enormous.
not a cheap eat but a good eat.

wagyu steak was perfect with an excellent sauce drizzled on top. went perfectly with a nice yamazaki single malt whisky. the customer service good but not great.

must try the pork belly!! very tasty and matched with the perfect dressing. the cocktails are amazing and the service is fantastic every time i’ve been here! love this place.

best atmosphere and dining experience in the greater macarthur area! we had a large booking and it was amazing how attentive and friendly staff are at this venue!
the produce tasted so fresh and the service was excellent, we selected the $60 package and were fed like kings with just the right portion sizes.

this venue has a magnificent assortment of amassing food and out of this world cocktails with such a relaxed setting. i have done teppanyaki several times and this by far was the best experience with dinner and a show! best value for money!

the food was amazing. great flavours and they catered really well to my friend who is vegetarian. the atmosphere is perfect. i was was with two friends and we had an entertaining and really lovely chef. i would definitely come back. there is so much more i'd love to try on the menu.

came for dinner with a small group. ambience was good with the teppanyaki stuff going on in the background. at one point a plastic bowl flew over and shattered a metre from our table.

in terms of food we ordered a number of items from the alacarte menu to share. generally the taste was on point (i liked the fried chicken and pork belly) but a few things to note:
- as portion sizes are quite small, those intending to order to share should keep this in mind
- while fresh, the sashimi plate was a bit of a let down at $42 for 18 pcs. inconsistent cutting of fish but generally quite small sized pieces and overall not very good value for money. would not recommend ordering this one or the kingfish carpaccio. the kingfish slices were so thin that it lost all texture and flavour
- the main ingredient of the majority of sushi rolls was crab stick. the spicy tuna roll was pleasant however
- again, credit on the pork belly

good drinks menu, fairly attentive service to note.

sasuki is a japanese teppanyaki restaurant located on the main dining strip at narellan town centre, in south western sydney. sasuki is one of the largest restaurants of its kind and offers both standard a la carte japanese dining and also a more extensive teppanyaki set menu. we had the pleasure of dining front row at the teppanyaki grill, enjoying a theatrical and interactive japanese feast with many great laughs and some of the best dining table entertainment you’ll find in a sydney restaurant.

fantastic service, brilliant atmosphere, delicious food! would definitely recommend trying out sasuki! i was very pleased to see that something this exciting had opened up not far from home. i'm still yet to try their teppanyaki but i definitely plan on! i love the energy and enthusiasm shown by their chefs! the restaurant get's quite loud from the teppanyaki section but i would imagine that it would be a blast if you're apart of it! it just looks like so much fun! the food selection is great also, and the food came out quite fast also

💙 this was a surprise. a very pleasant one. when i heard japanese restaurant in narellan i was expecting the worst - but everything we ordered was perfect. special shoutouts to the wagyu beef and atlantic salmon for gracing my table. service was spot on too 💙

this venue is amazing!! what a great experience! the new manager daniel was fantastic. i'm sure the past issues will resolve themselves with such a wonderful leader.

sasuki is a very special place. it is a spacious venue with both ala carte seating and the hot seats in front of the grill. if you are going to a teppanyaki restaurant though you need to go for the whole experience, so our suggestion would be grab the hot seats. we sat down in front of the hot plate and was served an amazing ‘ninja’ banquet option. this saw us feast down on a selection of veggies and rice, chicken teriyaki, king prawns and cuttlefish and our absolute favourite - the tenderloin steak. at $48 p/p this is definitely well priced. the food was delicious - fresh, well seasoned and melt in your mouth tasty. being able to watch all this be cooked by a host who sung, danced and laughed his way through a visual performance that would have done justice to a circus performance make sasuki an experience that will not be forgotten and something to come back for. while you are eating make sure to grab one of their signature cocktails - we would suggest the peaches and cream or the gin and rosemary options, both of which were created by the staff. the staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make sure that your experience is everything you would expect.

great place and great service, we opts in for the teppanyaki and it was awesome. chef jp was amazing and entertaining.

food was good on the teppanyaki menu, but the a la carte menu looks very pleasing, will have to come back and try it out.
