disgusting. i can't believe this place is in the #2 spot. the food is the greasiest i've ever eaten, and there was nothing exceptional about the flavor. plus, it's overpriced. everything that is typically served with breakfast (hash browns, etc.) is "on the side" and thus a separate charge. not worth it.

the sustenance is great however not astonishing. fast however just feels like insufficient thoughtfulness regarding quality. cheerful to return for the recollections however.

this is one of the main stays of the community. always crowded and loved by many. we have not been here in 20+ years; i now know why. the menu is limited, but the food is not bad. service was bad. they may have been short staffed, however, people were leaving because they could not get anyone to take their order. our food came out one dish at a time, with each side brought out separately from the meals. we had to tell them what we ordered when it came time to pay as they did not remember.

another wilmette classic.  honestly, though, not my favorite.  not the same as a walker bros.  usually, it's just way too crowded or a little too out of control and just not fun to eat at.  the food is good but not amazing.  very fast but just feels like not enough attention to quality.  happy to come back for the memories though.

yuck. there's a reason this place has been shut down so many times. it's just plain gross. i feel like i need a shower to clean my outsides, and something to clean my insides after eating here.

very generous portions for the price! also, the food isn't half bad. there's not much seating, so consider getting your food to-go. you won't wait more than five minutes!

i think ricky put it best on our way out by saying, "sarkis is the mecca of breakfast." if you go there expecting some elegant, farm to table meal you'll be sadly disappointed. if you want a greasy, delicious platter of breakfast goodness then you'll have come to the right place. also, nothing handles a hangover better than a loretta. i have no idea how the off shoot restaurant in lincoln park is, but i'll check it out soon. for the original, i'm giving a pearl necklace, 5 out of 5.

sarkis is my all time favorite place to go for breakfast!!! it's 100% worth the drive!! the entire staff is incredibly friendly, fun, nice, and love working there!! the french toast is to die for!!!!! it is unreal!!!

disaster sausage. this place is kooky. i would not place it in the top 100. the place is expensive for a glorified greasy spoon. service is good, food is breakfast,how do you mess this up? not very clean either so dont shower before you go.

this place is highly popular with teens and 20 somethings, probably because it's cheap and fast. the omelets are touted as great, so i ordered a ham & cheese, there is no effort made in presentation (see photo). i was disappointed that the cheese was processed. the food was pretty greasy and sat very heavy in my stomach, but, it is what it is. i would like to go back and try their loretta, those looked great. two very important notes: this place is not handicapped accessible and it is a cash only operation, no debit cards taken.

busy but yummy. we had breakfast here for the first time last saturday morning and now plan on making it a tradition for our annual evanston visits. the place was crammed pack to the point that as soon as we stood up to pay our bill two teenagers jumped into our booth before our plates could be cleared away. i take it as a good sign if the locals are that eager to get through the front door and get a table. i had the mexican omelet with some tasty chorizo and a side of $1 hashbrowns. good food at a great price. was glad they had an atm downstairs. forgot they take cash only!

in case you haven't heard the news by now-the evanston breakfast institution sarkis is opening up here in lincoln park. sarks in the park as it will be called will be in the downstairs corridor at 444 w. fullerton pkwy at the corner of fullerton and clark
