first indian restaurant i visited during my us trip..the taste and quality makes you feel as though you are in india especially the chutneys

we had a nice cup of south indian coffee at this saravana bhavan outlet. this was a quick pit stop before we rushed to an event in milpitas.

simple airy ambiance with lot of seating capacity.

we had an array of south indian food in between 4 people which included executive meals and combos. safe to say, we almost tried 70% of items and most of it was light, flavorful, and in good quantities... good start as well as stop before our 10 days trip!

very good food. try south indian dishes here as they are special on those. they also get you test dish in case you are not sure on liking. thali is good in quantity for one peraon and quality too.

not a fan of this place, could not say no to a friend and hence had to go. being weekend, place was very busy and had to wait more than twenty mins to be seated. ordered onion ravva dosa, masala dosa and rasa vada; after a long wait our dosa's were served which were oily and not properly done ; and rasam in rasa vada was very bad like water. our evening was definitely spoiled.

service was very bad and they were unapologetic.

i heard lot of good things about saravanaa bhavan when i was in india.

totally waste of money.

the idali was served cold. dosa was with less than average taste. a dosa in my office was bigger, cheaper and definitely have better taste.
