a rare find. what a great find in baltimore. if you're looking for really good tasting food and don't care about keeping up with the "jones" by paying large prices for large portions (easily enough for a second meal) you should give this place a try. not only can you get really authentice spanish-american food, but your choices are there. you can do fabulous fresh entree's for less than $15 or you can stick to great cheese-steak subs in the 7-$10 range, but remember we're talking "fresh" everything, and mouth watering bursting flavor.
the owner is a native baltimorean who once worked at the biltmore and decided to come back home to have his own "little" place.
it's not in a fancy location, but parking is easy and it's right across from "fox chevrolet" on security blvd.
you're in for a treat.

great food and service!!. don't let the store front fool you. when you walk in there are more tables in the back. we were welcomed and had delicious crab soup, bacon cheeseburger was perfect with fresh sweet bacon and medium cooked juicy burger, pesto primavera was delightful, the one guy told me he likes it over rice instead of pasta:) he also was so sweet to our nephew making funny faces together and gave him a delicious house made strawberry and vanilla cake that we took home and shared. this might be my new spot on my way home from the airport!:) oh and we also received toffee candy too! what a treat.

i have recently moved to the area for a new job and had no idea of the restaurants in the area. my boyfriend and i decided to go online and find something in the area that neither of us have had before. the salsa grill was easy to locate and was in a safe location. we weren't sure what to expect, but once we walked in we were immediately greeted by the owner himself who frequents the restaurant often and were seated. the wait staff was incredibly helpful with the menu as we had no idea what to get. we ordered the stuffed potatoes as an appetizer and the caribbean paella, just one to share as we were told it includes a lot of food. as we were waiting, they served a fresh salad with homemade ceased dressing and homemade croutons, both of which were light and delicious. the stuffed potatoes were absolutey delicious, especially with the fresh homemade salsa on top. once the entree came we were nearly full, but we managed to squeeze a couple bites in. the entree was delicious and everyone was helpful and friendly. highly recommend this place and will be coming back again soon!!

don't be fooled by the look. i have to admit i was a bit concerned when i walked in; two employees sitting at a table watching tv and they told us we could sit wherever we wanted. so we sat in the back and were quickly greeted by our waitress. when i opened the menu and saw the variety of foods, i was petrified (you know that feeling you get when you just know it's going to be bad food?) don't be fooled!!! the food is outstanding:) we ordered some appetizer, can't remember the name of it, but it was a sampler and was very good. for my entree i ordered the chicken cheese steak and it was out of this world delicious! my husband, step daughter and i had a blast here and will be back again soon.

crabcake combo. when you go to the salsa grill, be hungry and be prepared to enjoy your dining experience! you will be pleased with the wait staff and their attentiveness and help with selections, the presentation of the food and the whole atmosphere. you might get visited by jay, john or sean at your table to check on things, too. artwork is there for one to enjoy and even purchase at their pleasure. the food is all made on the premises and is of excellent quality and is the quantity is a terrific value. there are often specials and e-mails to announce them. the crabcakes are full of crabmeat and not fillers. the restaurant's caesar salad is delicious and the dressing that is made there is flavorful and is a great compliment to many of the dishes served there. there is not a dessert there that is not a delight to the taste buds! cheese cakes, of various kinds, strawberry shortcake, carrot cake and more. go check it out for yourself! buen provecho! enjoy!

good latin food. this place has plenty of choices, gives you big portions and is run by some people who really know latin food. the caribbean paella is the places most requested item. but the other items on the menu are just as good. the garlic shrimp is excellent, the crab cakes are top rated.
