best mexican food in frisco. great margaritas, queso, salsa. try the chili rellenos.

frisco-so so. i had the 3 crunchy taco plate and my hubby had the brisket tacos. my tacos were blah but my hubby said his were good but nothing to take note of. mine needed more flavor and they were really watery. they need to get rid of the fake cheap cheese for the prices they charge. better than taco bell but not by much. the waitstaff, however, was really great!

this is the most visited restaurant by our family, by far. we love the price and the quality of the food. our kids can't get enough of the chips and bean dip. we are very fond of it too. we also love the enchiladas and the bryan tacos are great as well. i highly recommend this place.

very friendly staff and speedy service. the chips were fresh and warm and the portions were huge. when are drinks were low, they promptly filled them. the different sauces were unique like nothing i've ever tasted. will be going there again. only negative thing i can say is that they were a little overpriced.

as we were talking for quite some time! most likely our waiter had gone home! yet i asked 2 other waiters if we could have water and tea refills snd more salsa to finish the chips we already had at the table , we were told we would
have to pay extra!" the i think was the manager , said no we dont charge extra,but blew it off and told me they were just kidding! there
was no smile! the taco soup was great, , but if a waiter who wasnt extremely busy wasnt willing to serve
a guest whether it was his table or not makes me wonder if he has the right job and if others are treated
rudely as well! i tip well, but wonder if the tip was constituted based on the attitude!! dissappointed in the service!

not as good as plano. i don't know what is going on with this frisco location. it was good when it openned a year ago and now it was bad; two times now. the chicken was flavorless and tough in the chimichanga and on the lolita plate. the salmon salad was horrible and it looked like they scraped the fish off the grill and threw it on the salad and one of the pieces looked like it had been partially eatin or something. we ordered apple juice for our toddler it came in a white cup and then 10 minutes later the waitress comes back and goes oops i gave her soda instead of apple juice. the food was terrible, the waitress was horrible. we asked for the manager she would not get him; we had to have another waiter get him and he, the manager, was not helpful at all. only argued with us about the quality of the food. we prefer the plano location not frisco. i don't know what has changed but if it is a new cook or they feel rushed; it's time to take a review. the place use to be packed all the time and now it is easy to get in; but the plano location is now packed again. the only thing that is worth it at this location is the salsa, queso, chips, and margaritas. the food quality and attention to service detail is lost. back to plano my family will go!

nice surprise. after living in north texas for the last 11 years, most mexican food restaurants seem the same to me. it is rare that i find one that distinguishes itself from all the others. much to my surprise and delight, salsa in frisco manages to do just that. the night we dined at salsa, we arrived just before the kitchen was about to close and we were the only patrons in the restaurant. rather than act put out for making them stay a little later than usual, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

the menu at salsa is extensive and includes a wide variety of traditional mexican and tex-mex dishes. our waitress suggested the brisket enchiladas, so i gave them a try. i have to say they were fantastic! the brisket was seasoned perfectly and was tender and juicy. the dish had just the right combination of spicy and smokey flavors. i opted for retried beans and rice as sides expecting the same bland flavors i've tasted at other local establishments, but again, i was pleasantly surprised by how tasty these items were. i tend to leave quite a bit on my plate when eating at other mexican restaurants, but i left nothing at this one!

before we left, the owner came to our table and thanked us for coming. he clearly takes a tremendous amount of well-deserved pride in his business.

salsa gets an enthusiastic endorsement from this diner for its combination of great food and friendly staff. we will definitely be returning.

our favorite tex mex by some margin. wonderful food, great service, and very good prices. we've eaten there so many times and never been let down. all our friends have been directed there and not one has regretted it. the salsa is fresh and white queso is to die for. wonderful eatery!!!

very good mexican food!!!!. my husband and i took my friend from california here for dinner. hubby had the enchiladas with rice and beans. he said it was great. my friend had the chicken enchiladas with charo bean and rice. she liked it very much. she also had a margarita. said the margarita was not the best she had ever had, but it was the most inexpensive. i had a taco salad which was very good and more than i could eat. it made a nice late night snack later. the staff is very attentive. we shall return.

tex mex sits right in the middle of a huge housing area with lots of kids. almost every table had kids. momma & daddy love to get there drink on with the margarita's. several other comments also added the "no flavor". "wontbeback".

we ordered fajittas and they were ok. needed more flavor and not enough peppers. serrvice was excellent and place was packed! queso was good. still think ruby's has the best quest inferno around.

although th food is always good the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired! friendliness is definetly optional.

queso with beef was good...as well as the brisket tacos. so glad that there is a good mexican restaurant that is good and near by! service was good and the prices were reasonable. will definitely be back!!

we've been here 7 times since it opened a few months ago! it's great! enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, bean dip and salsa are superb! i haven't been disappointed yet! and they have a great lunch menu! 7-8 dollars for full plates of food!!!
