very overrated and extremely overpriced. calamari portion was tiny for $16 and veal parm was average at best and was $30 + $8 for a side of pasta. portions not good all around. maybe the steaks and chops are good but go to ralph's, villa di roma, scanniccios, dante & luigis, cafe victor or any other italian place in south philadelphia. was very disappointed. avoid.

this is not a tourist trap. it is the real deal, old school italian restaurant. we had a large party and still got great service. the food was good and the portions large. unlike similar local places it was quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling. i would go back and i recommend it.

my husband took me here for my birthday and i absolutely loved this place! the staff was super friendly, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. the restaurant was gorgeous inside! i did not expect it to have such detail and charm by looking at the outside, i was truly blown away. i would definitely recommend this restaurant.

an all around terrific dining experience. the prices are inflated but the food and service are second to none. bonus points for having an awesome parking situation.
