sakura japanese restaurant

excellent sushi and cheap prices. i went here last night and loved it. i was always afraid to go to sakura because i never heard anything about it from anyone and you gotta be careful with sushi places. anyway, i got the spicy girl roll. omg! so frigin good. i'm no sushi connoisseur. i usually get spicy tuna roll everywhere. and i really didn't know the difference between "good sushi" and "ok sushi" until last night. it was awesome!! the atmosphere was reall nice too. totally not what i expected. i always drive by it and though it looked like a dive. i was mistaken. i totally recommend this place!

horrible waitress/service. my girlfriend who loves this restaurant decided to take me there since she knows i love sushi so she decided to have sushi at sakura. everything was great! the sushi, the place and the atmosphere. but there was one problem...the waitress!! everything was excellent until the bill came. our meal was $27.50 so we paid with a debit card and decided to leave her a tip of $6.00 in cash"which is more than 20% of total bill. the waitress took the card and the money, came back with the receipt and of course we didnt write anything additional for tip since we already left her a $6 tip. we walked out to our car and as we getting ready to leave, the waitress comes out of the restaurant with the receipt in hand, approaches to our car and tells us "we did not include any tip in the receipt." we told her we had lefted her $6.00 in cash. she said "no you didnt" basically, she was demanding a tip "which in others words we did include" but i guess some how other waitress most it took the money from the table. what got us very offended was the waitress had the balls to come out of the restaurant and almost scream at us demanding her tip. i told my girlfriend, never again we would come here. it was very humiliating. on top of that another waitress comes out gives back up on the waitress that attend our table, stating that we did not include no tip. it was like if they were teaming up on us. its not my fault they dont pay attetion which tables they need to attend. noone wants to be bother with that. thats the employees fault for not having any control at the tables they attending. at the end i resquested to speak to a manager about this embarrasing moment i had with my girlfriend, but somehow the waitress who attend our table said (" oh dont worry, everything is taken care with the manager, the manager said is ok!")im guessing they did found the person or waitress who did took the money and did not want us to speak to a manager about their negligence.

the general chows chicken was great. i went for something i’ve never heard of and couldn’t even get eat 1/3 of it. i guess somethings are great while others no so. i’d say try it, you may love it. a tad pricey though.

my husband and i order from sakura just about every friday night. the have 50% off all (?) sushi everyday and there really isn't a single thing we've tried that we haven't liked. our 4 1/2 year old daughter loves it too so she looks forward to "sushi night" each week. husband loves the tiffany roll (california tempura roll with a spicy sauce on top) and i love the ichiban (scallop tempura with mango and kani) and their basic rolls are great as well. whatever they did during their renovations, whether they changed owners or whatever, they did the right thing because their food is great!

always good. i have been to sakura for both lunch and dinner numerous times. the food is consistently good; of the 3 sushi restaurants within a few miles of me, this one is my preferred option. i love the yellow tail jalepeño appetizer (sashimi style), and my favorite of the specials are the spicy girl, as well as the sakura roll. during the week, they frequently run great eat-in specials, such as half price items. the lunch bento boxes are great, and for those who don't eat raw stuff, you can't go wrong with the beef negemaki (hibachi grilled beef, wrapped around green onions with a delicious sauce).

good sushi great prices. service can be slow at times and some waitresses speak little english, but my favorite sushi place by far.

good sushi. the service can be slow at times depending on how many people are there. the sushi seems very fresh. they still have the 50% discount on selected rolls which is a great deal. the shrimp tempura entree was pretty average compared to other restaurants. shrimp fried rice is a good choice too, and there is normally a pretty large serving of it.

great food & service. we love this restaurant for sushi & the tempura. the 50% discount is a great deal for some excellent rolls! we definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for some great sushi in bucks county.

this is a relatively new place located in an overhauled taco bell on street road in bensalem. relative to kira, ooka, and oishi, sakura has the best sushi at the best price. they have a ’select’ menu that offers regular menu items at up to $3 off. pleasan

from the russo's. this place is by far the best sushi joint in bucks county!!!!! sakura as been recently renovated and is a perfect place to take a loved one or friends. everything there is extremely fresh makeing for the best sushi and food! the staff and ppl that work there are very helpful and extremely friendly! if you havent been there you need to get there. best sushi around!!!! and great prices! i went to cali and went to a few sushi places and i found my self missing sakura, the other places just werent as good!

loving it!. i went to bensalem to visit some friends. we all had decided to go to sakura for some sushi due to their 50% discount price. after we went there i was amazed by taste of sushis they got there. it's sure the best sushi i had ever tasted and their services is super! even without their 50% off discount, me and my friends we'll still be back for more! keep up the great works sakura!
