newish place close to my neighbourhood. the spacious room is done up nicely, definitely a step (or more) above your typical central edmonton pho shop.the menu is limited but covers all the bases: pho, chicken noodle soup, rice & vermicelli dishes.
the portions are generous, prices  slightly higher than expected and but the food is bland/boring and seems to be "dumbed down"! would be good for an intro to viet food but far better to visit chinatown or 124 st

saigon taste, a vietnamese restaurant located just across from oliver square, contacted me last week to try them out as they have recently changed management. my meal was complimentary, but i aim to remain objective in my review. if you would like to give saigon taste a try yourself, you can receive a 10% discount until the end of november if you show them you follow me on instagram!

tried the #15 spicy beef noodle bowl... yummy and filled me up quite nice for 10$.... the quality of beef was alright. server was very attentive and fast service. excited to give this place another try and order some other dishes.

great food, friendly service!!
have been to restaurant couple of time already, spicy noodle soup and the beef stew is delicious .
the restaurant seems a lot different as how it used to be, love the place!!!

probably the best vietnamese in edmonton. lots of variety on the menu, all great tasting so far. waitress is always very attentive and somehow comes at just the right moment during the meal.

the restaurant has nice ambience and is always neat and clean. i use zomato all the time, this is the first place that i really wanted to leave a review for. try it, you won't be disappointed!

this location is now operated by new owners. amazing food. staff is from the saigon flavor(50 street) which has amazing food. i reccomend the ginger beef, war wonton soup and salad rolls. plus as always the vietnamese iced coffee!!

i used to go here a lot when the husband and wife ran things. portions were amazing, service was great. now, portions are half what they used to be, the chicken tastes like rubber, and the "server" they have only comes when you call him away from looking at his laptop. i had this experience once, wanted to give them a second chance....went back and experienced horrible service all over again. too bad, i was a regular, but i won't be back.

the place is newly renovated and very clean. it's a plus for vietnamese restaurants. special noodle soup is quite good for lunch. it's such a quite and nice spot for oliver square area. better than i expected.

highly recommend!. i have tried numerous vietnamese restaurants in edmonton, some good, some not, and i really enjoy saigon taste! the pho broth is authentic, savory and never disappoints. the vermicelli bowls are loaded with deliciousness and come in such generous portions. aside from the amazing food, the friendly staff is definitely a reason to visit this place. they are always so kind and go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. and they are open sundays!

the best pho in town!! the pho here is the real deal. you can tell they make it from absolute scratch. you can taste the flavors, it doesn't take like hot water with an oxo cube. i could eat here everyday! the service is fantastic and the prices are reasonable!!! i may just have to go for lunch today! ;)

good flavours but using frozen meats and not fresh. wor wonton soup wontons were crunchy and cold due to being frozen :( yuck! but chicken fried rice is amazing !

classy, quiet, and excellent service. i live in the neighbourhood and like to drop in on a friday night for pho, green onion soup and a glass of wine. i'm always seated immediately, food is served promptly and is tasty, fresh and hot. i am comfortable here on my own or with a friend. where else can you get a $5 glass of wine?
